"Oh my, Gooooood!" I screamed in the loudest voice I was able to produce.
Excitement, thrill, and happiness filled my body. It had been such a long time since I'd felt all those positive feelings and emotions that I couldn't stop myself from grinning.
And Navid seemed to be feeling the same way. Because surprisingly, he looked like he was enjoying it too. Of course, there was no smile or a big grin on his face like I had—or at least not when I was looking. Because I knew that every time he believed I wasn't looking, or whenever he was enjoying it too much, he was losing his focus and composure; his lips would stretch into a genuine smile and his face would radiate with happiness.
