'This was a bad idea,' was what my brain told me as I kissed Elle. And although I agreed with that, there's still a bigger part of me that didn't want to back down from the sudden plan of mine.
I couldn't even begin to imagine what Elle would think if I told her I changed my mind. I just knew that different ideas and scenarios would immediately fill her head, and I didn't want that.
I didn't want her to believe that I was not confident in my own plan, that I was afraid of feeling something else. Because I knew I wouldn't.
