Dane’s POV
“Well, you have officially managed to wake her up!” I snapped at Damien and Darius through the mind links, and they both glared at me in response.
Kira rubbed her eyes and sat up. “What is going on? Why are you guys in my room?” she asked drowsily.
I quickly helped her lie back down. “It’s nothing to worry about.” I gave her a small smile. “I wanted to check and see if you’ve been able to sleep. I was so worried about you.”
I heard Darius curse under his breath but ignored him. “Are you okay? Do you want water?” I asked softly.
Kira nodded slowly. “My throat does feel a bit dry. I’d like a glass of water.”
