Damien’s POV
The nerves in my body were burning with rage. Why were they taking too damn long to open the door? I wanted to punch a hole through it, kick it open even, but before I could contemplate that, the door slowly opened and Leo stepped out.
My hands clenched at my sides as I watched to see if Kira would come out as well, but she didn’t. Leo raised an eyebrow at me—he looked relaxed. So relaxed that I wanted to wipe that smug look off his face.
“Where is Kira?” I asked, my voice sharp and cold.
Leo opened his mouth to respond, but Kira walked out. She looked flushed—her cheeks were pink, her lips wet. My eyes slid down to her clothes; they were rumpled, and she was almost half-naked.
