“What?!” Both Max and Melia exclaimed after Frazier’s announcement while I stared at him with so much depth that my eyes could have set him up in flames if they could.
“Who’s Ivory?” I asked, my voice barely making its way out of my throat enough to be considered a sound, but they definitely heard it.
“Ivory is Frazier’s sister,” Max answered, grabbing Frazier by his neck and pulling him up to his eye level. “I really hope that you’re lying to me, Frazier. I hope this is all a joke, because if I go back to your hut and find your sister, it would be a better thing for you than if I don’t find her.”
Frazier fell to the floor with a loud thump as Max threw him off again, storming out of the hut in a search for Ivory.
I looked at Frazier, and he was already glaring at me with as much hate
