As Sera entered the infirmary it was a hustle of activity with people running everywhere, many had been severely injured and by some miracle only 2 gravely. A familiar cry rang out down the hall as George came hurtling towards Sera, without a second thought about her arm she scooped him up with her left and pulled him close.
“I was so afraid!” He mumbled into her shoulder through burst of tears.
“Oh sweet. I’m here.” She soothed him trying to drown out the anguish cries of pain around her. “Clara, go get patched up. Helena is down the right corridor, 3rd door on your left.” And off she went.
