I left Aubrey in the pack house earlier with the excuse that I already had plans for the day.
She had asked so many questions, hell-bent on knowing what they were, and she had been disappointed to find that I told her nothing in reply.
I felt bad for a minute because she had been so excited to spend the day together, but there was something important I had to do.
I had also suggested passing Stella's ridiculous apology letter to the alpha, that one she had no qualms about.
Although reluctantly, we had separated and I left the house with one destination in mind.
