Alpha Ryan's POV “Good morning, Alpha,” I walked into the dining hall with a warmth in my chest this morning, the same warmth that I had since my conversation with Diane last night. For some reason I did not find it in me to be annoyed at the sight of people, I just didn't mind. My eyes roamed across the table as I sat on the chair at the furthest head. “She must have gotten my present by now,” I thought as my lip twitched into a smile I had expected to see Diane but was met with an empty spot on the chair she normally sat on instead. Something like disappointment pricked my resolve and I glanced away from the seat with my face set into a frown.
