B-I-N-G-O..... B-I-N-G-O....B-I-N-G-O and BINGO was his name OOOOOOOOO. Ava an Aston had sung that song over an over as the plane flew over the ocean. Hayden parents had kept the kids occupied with songs an other activities and then put them down for a nap. They were awake now and singing that song again. Hayden smiled back at her mother an father. She was coming to the realization that her parents had really only faked their deaths so that she could live a normal life. She watched them as they interacted with the kids. Her mother an father were really good with them. Hayden wondered what it would have been like growing up with them, her parents, her actual parents. She figured it would have been enjoyable and full of love. The way that they played with Ava an Ashton with a smile on their faces the whole entire time made Hayden feel happy that Ava would at least have them in her life now. She turned back in her seat an seen that Theia had finally gotten the nerve to open the window. She looked out in awe, looking at the clouds an the ocean. It was like looking at a child when you had taken them to the toy store for the very first time. The night before she had been terrified of the aircraft an wanted to teleport home. She actually insistent on it and acted pretty persistent. They had finally talked her into getting on the plane saying that an aircraft was safer than a car and that they needed her by Ava's side. She had reluctantly given in and inched her was onto the plane as if it was going to attack her. Her every move had been calculated an her every step taken with caution. Xavier had laughed until he cried, although Theia didn't think that it was very funny at all. Now she seemed to be enjoying the plane ride, her mouth had a slight smile and her eyes twinkled with amazement as she looked out over the clouds. Hayden smiled to herself an glanced at Amony an Aleski. Amony had her head on Aleski's shoulder an he was rubbing her leg. She was sleeping while Aleski stared out the window. He looked lost in thought. Hayden realized that Amony had been sleeping an awful lot lately and made a mental note to ask her about it when they got a moment alone. She looked forward and closed her eyes. Trying to take a nap before they got to the Island. She didn't know how long exactly they had left on the flight but they would wake her up when they landed.
Hayden didn't know how long she had been asleep but she woke as the plane hit some light turbulence. She yawned an looked around the plane. Everyone had fallen asleep except for Devlin. He was staring straight out the window as they flew through the clouds, hitting light turbulence here an there. Hayden unbuckled her seat belt an stood. She stretched her back an arms an started towards her husband. He glanced back and smiled at her as she made her way to the cockpit. Well, look whos awake. I thought you were gonna sleep the rest of the trip. Devlin said as he smiled back at her again. She sat down on the little fold down seat beside of his seat an leaned in a gave him a kiss on the cheek. How long was I out? She asked him with another long yawn. He looked at his watch. Roughly........... four hours. Devlin said as he looked back up at her. It didn't feel that long, it felt like I literally closed my eyes for a moment. How long until we get there? Hayden questioned. We have another two to three hours depending on the storm ahead. He replied. How bad is the storm? She asked nervously as she glanced back at the children an back to her husband. It's just a small rain storm. I just don't wanna hit bad turbulence with the kids in here, and, also, Theia. She is just getting use to the plane ride. I don't want her to get frightened. You know how long it took us to even get her on here last night. Devlin laughed. Yeah, that would be bad. I wouldn't want her to get scared either, she may teleport out an we may not be able to find her again. Hayden whispered. The news just stated that it was a light rain storm but you know how that weather affects the air. A lot of air pockets that we hit and the plane bounces. Devlin said as he picked up his radio an spoke into it. A moment later someone at the closest airport replied telling him that he is good to continue ahead. Can you teach me to fly one day? Hayden asked as she glanced at Charlie in the co-pilot chair sound asleep. I sure can Honey. Maybe you can sit there on the way back home. Devlin pointed to Charlie. I would love that. She replied with a kiss to his cheek again. I'll leave you to it then. I'm gonna go take another nap. Wake me when we get ready to land. I love you. Hayden said as she stood. I sure will, I love you too Beautiful. He replied as he smacked her on the butt as she went to walk away. She turned an smiled at him. Hey, save that for the bedroom. She laughed. I'll remember that later when we go to bed. Devlin replied with a wink an a sly smirk. Oh, I won't let you forget it. She said as she turned an walked back to her seat.
Attica was upset and frustrated that she and Damon had to stay behind. She had tried to keep her idle hands busy with tasks like potions, elixirs and now herbs, she knew that she may never use them but she had to keep her mind occupied. She knew there wasn't enough room on the tiny aircraft but she couldn't help but feel hurt that they didn't take her. They had said they NEEDED her here at the property to keep an eye on everything. She knew that was just an excuse so that they wouldn't hurt her feelings by not taking her. But they were hurt, her feelings, for the first time in her life, were actually hurt. She felt left out. She knew they were right about the protection spells weakening if she were to leave, but it didn't make her feel any better about being left behind. She tired to reason with herself, telling herself over an over that they had a good valid excuse but she just couldn't seem to stop thinking about it no matter how hard she tried or how busy she kept herself. Damon had tried to cheer her up by bringing her flowers an chocolates, he knew it was a long shot but he tried it anyway with no success. He knew that she was feeling hurt through their mate bond an he was racking his brain trying to come up with something that would make her feel better. After going on over a few ideas he had finally settled on one. He had driven off the property and down to the strip mall to their little clothing store that had women's clothing and bought her a nice dress an also a little red an black nightie for after their dinner. He had it gift wrapped in a very nice red an black wrapping paper with a big red bow on top of each one. Now he was home, standing at the top of the stairs with the gifts in his hands. He took a deep breath an slowly made his way down to her workshop, when he rounded the corner to her spell room, he walked in just as she was placing some jars on the shelf that held all of her potions an elixirs. Hey baby, I got you something. Come here. Damon said as he laid the gifts on her work table and looked at her with a loving smile. Her eyes lit up an a smile spread across her lips as she made her way over to him. You didn't have to do that! Attica exclaimed, a smile still on her lips. I wanted too. He replied as she walked up to him an wrapped her arms around his waist. I want to make you happy. We don't need to be on that Island to have fun, I am gonna show you. Tonight. Me. and. You. Alone. he kissed her on the cheek an nudged her towards the gifts softly. Now open your gifts. He requested. She turned to the table an started to unwrap the gifts. She covered her mouth with surprise when she opened the first box. It's beautifulllllll!!! She said with a smile as she pulled the emerald gown out of the box. I love it! I can't wait to wear it!!! Where are we going???!! She asked with joy. He smiled at her brightly. It's a surprise. You will find out when we get there. She reached for the other gift an started to rip it open. She looked at him with lust and desire as she pulled the very tiny red nighty outlined in black lace out of the box. I am assuming this is for dessert? She asked it as a question. He winked at her. She put the nighty down an turned and hugged him. I love you so much. You always know what to do to make me feel better. She said softly as she looked into his eyes. And, I love you Sweetie. I don't like when my mate feels down, I can feel it through the bond an it makes me want to kill whoever made you feel that way. You know I would kill someone for you. That is how much I love you an how much I want to keep you happy. He said softly as he leaned in towards her mouth. Well, I don't want you to kill our family so I will settle with this moment right here, this, you, makes me happy. She whispered as her mouth met his. They kissed passionately. When she pulled back her heart was beating wildly an she felt heat in her core. She kept her eyes on his. When do we need to leave for this surprise date? She asked softly. He peeked down at his watch. We have an hour. He said as his smile grew wider. Good. She said as she leaned in to kiss him again.
Devlin woke Charlie up twenty minutes before the expected landing time. He had descended the plane so that he could see where he needed to land and had it level with the run way on his small Island. They were about three hundred feet from the runway. Wow. It's even prettier than I remember. Charlie said as they were landing. Release the landing gear. Devlin said calmly. Charlie hit the gear to lower the wheels and they slid out smoothly. Check. She said when she completed the task. Okay. When we land I need you to press the brakes all the way down..... as soon as the wheels hit. It may get a little bumpy. Its a small runway. He explained. I'm ready. Charlie said surely. Soon as the wheels hit the ground she hit the brakes. The plane kept rolling quickly but started to slow as they made it down. The end of the runway was coming up fast. Are we gonna stop in time?! Charlie asked nervously. Devlin just nodded an pulled the emergency brake. The plane skidded to a stop. Shewwwwww. Charlie wiped her forehead dramatically. She unbuckled her seat belt an stood. When she turned around she laughed. Everyone was still asleep. They slept through all of that! Charlie exclaimed looking surprised. Devlin unbuckled his belt an stood as well. He looked at them with a smile on his face. He turned an opened the console of the plane pulling something out as he shut it back. Charlie couldn't see what he had in his hand until she was about to jump out of her skin with fear. He had a air horn an he held the button down now as everyone woke with screams. Hayden's parents both grabbed the children the moment they opened their eyes. Xavier just sat there looking at Devlin with a furious look on his face. Hayden stood. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! She yelled. Devlin just smiled and let the button go. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are here. We have landed. He laughed. Everyone turned and looked out of the window. I'll be damned. How the hell did we sleep through the landing. Hayden stated. Jet lag! Xavier said as he stood an stretched out. I'm gonna get you back for that by the way. He turned an hit Devlin in the stomach jokingly. Devlin grunted and held his stomach. I'll be prepared for it now.... you should have kept that one to yourself brother. Devlin replied with laughter. He hit the button on the gear to lower the stairs an they all grabbed their luggage an made their way off the plane. Devlin opened the bottom carriage an started to unload everything else as Xavier an Aleski walked over to help. David walked over to them. Can I help with anything? He asked. Michelle has the kids under control for now. He laughed. Sure grab what you can. Devlin replied with two suitcases. Follow me. He added when David picked up two more. That is a beautiful house. So what we see, this is it, right? David asked curiously. The Island was small but it was definitely big enough for everyone there. There was a huge field behind the house that the runway ran parallel too. The beach front wrapped all the way around the entire Island. The house sat about a hundred feet from the beach and had a barbeque area an a tiki bar area. There was a volleyball net and a basketball court, horse shoe set up along with other games. There was a pier that ran out about thirty feet into the ocean with a pontoon boat tethered to the end of it. Yep. This is it. Beautiful isn't it? Xavier answered for Devlin. Yeah. The house has more than enough room for everyone to have their own bedroom. I had this house built on here when I purchased this Island. I spent a lot of time out here staying far away from my father. So there is plenty to keep us occupied. If we need anything, anything at all, I can have it delivered or we can travel to the main land about an eight hour boat ride away. Easy as one two three. Devlin stated. It's very beautiful here. I would call it more of a Paradise. I wish we would have thought about something like this instead of the mountains when we had to go into hiding. David laughed. You guys will love it here. Xavier said as Devlin opened the front door an sat the luggage down. Make yourselves at home. It will be home until it's time to head back home. Who knows how long this will take. We all must keep our patience though. Devlin said. Yeah about that. I don't think Ava will want to spend her time training here. The kids will want to swim an play an have a good time. Theia said as she looked out the front window at the kids playing in the sand with Michelle. Well, we will allot times to train an times to play. We will figure it out. Devlin replied as he picked Hayden's bags up an headed to their room. You guys go ahead an pick your rooms. I get this one. Devlin said as he sat their bags on the bed. Xavier grabbed his suitcase an ran to the bedroom that he and Charlie had shared on the last trip. DIBS! Xavier shouted as he threw his bag onto the bed.
Three weeks later Ava an Theia stood in the field next to the beach house practicing her magic. Ava was already perfecting her magic with ease. Every task that Theia threw her way was like a cake walk for the five year old. Another one! Theia demanded, pushing Ava to throw a ball of electrical current after electrical current at the target they had made out of old clothes an pillows to look like an assailant. It hit the chest area with precision and efficiency. The target was at it's limit as it fell over into a pile of scorched clothing. Great Job Ava! That's my girl!!! Theia encouraged her. Ava ran up and gave Theia a high five. What do you wanna work on now? Theia asked her with a smile. Ava gave her a crooked smile an then shrugged her shoulders. I don't know. I already know how to throw the energy balls, I know how to become invisible, also how to teleport, I can blast fire or ice at an enemy, and heal wounds, give energy when needed, make things float, an ..... what else is there? Ava asked her curiously. Theia gave her a big smile. Awwww Sweetie, there is sooooooooooooooo much more. Your powers are unlimited. You can do anything you set your mind too. If you think it and want it hard enough, my dear, you can make it happen. Theia explained. Anything????? Ava asked with excitement as she jumped up and down. Theia looked up at the sky in thought then adverted her eyes back to Ava. Almost anything, there are some limits. Like rising the dead or natural disasters. Theia replied as she put her hands on her hips. I wouldn't do that anyway! Gross Auntie Theia! I was thinking more like ice cream. Ava giggled. Ice cream? What do you mean? Theia asked. Can I make ice cream just appear if I want ice cream? We don't have any in the freezer. Ava added. Theia smiled an snapped her fingers. There on the grass laying on a blanket was two bowls of ice cream. COOOOLLLLLLLL!!!! Ava ran over an sat down, picking up the bowl and the spoon an digging in. Theia walked over an sat across from her. Now, you try it. Theia suggested as she picked her own bowl up an started to eat. Ava sat her bowl of ice cream down and tried to snap her fingers with no luck. We will work on that. For now lets work on the things that will keep all of us all alive an keep you out of the enemies hands. You know your mother an father raised you right girl, you are very intelligent for your age. Your witty, an fast, and you know what you want. I think even if the enemy got their hands on you, you would still do the right thing. I do not think they would be able to influence you so easily. Theia stated as she took another bite of ice cream. Ava looked at Theia for moment. I just know what is right an what is wrong, Aunt Amony an my mom, well, they made sure that they told me everyday since the moment I learned to speak, I remember everything from the second I was born. They used to read me stories of Angels an Demons, of right an wrong, light an darkness. I know what the difference is. Even if they think that I don't. Ava said as she looked down at her bowl. Theia sat her bowl down an placed her hand on Ava's shoulder. I believe in you Ava. I see a lot of myself in you at that age. I know you will always do what is right. After my parents were killed by the Devil's Flag, I knew I had to keep myself hidden. I knew that was the only way to keep our world safe from them, safe from me. Theia said sadly. Ava looked up at her. I know if they would have found you, you would have done the right thing as well. Ava said with a small smile on her face. Thank you. I would like to think that I would have done what I needed to do to keep my powers from them. Even if that meant killing myself. Theia stated as she picked her ice cream bowl back up an finished it off. Ava smiled. Well, I am really happy that they never found you. We would never be sitting here now, eating ice cream. They both laughed loudly. Ava loved this woman already. She knew she was going to become a big part of her life from now on, she was happy that she had someone around that understood exactly what she was going through. She knew now that everything was going to be alright.
