I just can't.....

Who dies? Tia asked cautiously, not really wanting to know that answer. Amony shook her head and wrapped her arms around herself. She didn't want to know who it was either that would lose their life, she knew that she would try to stop it and she knew she wouldn't be able to stop a vision anyway. She didn't have the power to do that even if she wanted too. I don't know. The faces were a blur. The vision wouldn't let me see who dies. Amony stated sadly. Hayden walked over to her an gave her a hug. After releasing her she stepped back an gave her a sad smile. I'm sorry you had to see that. I know exactly what that feels like. Hayden stated. Amony nodded. She knew if she said anything else she knew she wouldn't be able to stop the tears from falling. She took a step back and sighed.  Hayden walked over to the spell table an picked up a notebook. She walked back over to Amony and handed it to her. Here, write down every vision you have. The wards are down so they will be more frequent. I have a journal as well. Hayden said as she wrung her hands nervously, this whole situation had her nerves extremely on edge. I talked Attica into leaving them down for a few days. I need to start having my visions again. I need more answers. Hayden added as she fisted her hands, hoping that she could keep them from shaking. Devlin came up beside her and gave her a sad smile. She looked at him like she was about to lose something very important to her. It's going to be okay. We will find out who is doing this. We haven't even been out there to question anyone yet. I promise I will not let anything happen to our daughter. Devlin explained as he turned an took her hands in his, noticing that she was struggling to keep herself calm. He brought her knuckles up to his lips an gave her hand a soft kiss. I am so worried about her but not in that way. After what I've seen her do the past few days, I think she will be the one saving us. Hayden tried to smile. Just the right side of her mouth quirked up a bit an her face fell back to a grimace. Devlin pulled her against his chest an held her. Either way, We will get through this, just like we have with anything else. Okay? He pulled back to look into her eyes. She nodded an pulled him back to her so she could lay her head on his chest. She just wanted to be held by him. Knowing that he was here an still with her made her feel extreme comfort. She gripped him tighter. He coughed an gave a little chuckle. Hayden, Sweetie, you are crushing my ribs. Hayden relaxed a little an straightened back up to look at him. Sorry, I just need you right now. Hayden commented. I know Beautiful. I need you too, I always need you. It's kind of pathetic, a grown ass man constantly needing his woman. Devlin laughed but the laughter didn't reach his eyes, he was just as nervous as she was. Hayden smiled at him, actually smiled. I don't think it's pathetic at all. I think that means we have what a lot of people never experience in their life time, Love. We have that and we want to hold onto that despite all the craziness in this messed up world of ours. We should have never gotten comfortable. We should have known it wasn't over. Hayden said as she shook her head while still clenching onto her husband. Devlin tilted his head to the side and looked at her expression. Hayden, don't say that. The past five years have been the best. We got to live a little, we got to watch our daughter grow, take her first steps, ride her first bike, learn to read an write. I've really enjoyed them. I know you have as well. At least we got those years of calm, peaceful, enjoyable times. Devlin stated with a little hurt in his eyes. I know, I have enjoyed the, I'm not saying that I didn't, I just get so frustrated, why can't they just leave us alone, why can't they just let us live. I don't understand why they think they have any kind of claim to our daughter. Hayden said with anger in his voice as she took a step away from him. Devlin sighed and touched his temples with his index fingers. They know they don't have any claim on her, that is why they keep trying to sneak in on us, why they sent a spy to get into her head. They know we will never give up on protecting her. They know our daughter is safe as long as we are alive. Devlin explained as her lower his hands an took a step back towards her. Hayden's eyes got really wide as soon as he said that. She repeated his last word. "As long as we are alive", Amony's vision. Devlin, I think they are gonna try to kill us. Amony said she couldn't see the faces of who dies in this battle. Hayden suggested. Devlin shook his head. No, That isn't going to happen Hayden! We will move to the Island if we have too. Torrin Island is safe. We would see them coming from miles away. Devlin offered. Hayden shook her head quickly. We are not running Devlin. We need to go out here, see who the traitor is, and we need to get some answers. Hayden said as she turned around and stormed up the stairs. Devlin took a deep breath and turned to the play room. Well, I'll get our daughter an meet you out there. Devlin said more to himself since Hayden wasn't there to hear him. 

Hayden sat on Attica's porch trying to calm down. She wondered why all this was happening again. She couldn't for the life of her think of who was betraying them. She had gone through almost everyone on the property in her head. She couldn't figure out who it was. They have to be good at disguising themselves. They have to be really great at acting, no, they are spelled to conceal their true intentions, so maybe they are spelled to treat all of us as family when really they hate us all. She thought to herself.  Damnit. I really have no f*****g clue! She said out loud as soon as Attica walked out onto the porch an sat down beside of her. Am I interrupting something? I can go back inside. Attica said as she sat back in the chair. No. I actually want you here. I was just going over it in my head, I don't know who it could be Attica? Hayden said with confusion written on her face. She scooted up to the edge of the chair an turned to face Attica. I don't know who it is either. I have thought about everyone here since Amony told us. She is the only one that can tell for sure. We need to have Xavier call a meeting to get everyone in one spot. Attica suggested. Hayden brightened up. That's a great idea Attica! Where is Xavier? Hayden asked as she stood up. Just then Devlin, Ava, Charlie, Ashton and Xavier came out onto the porch. Mommy, Is it really time to go home? Ava asked sadly. Hayden stood and walked over to her daughter. No Sweetie, we can stay out for a little longer. Mommy needs to talk to Xavier an Daddy an Aunt Charlie for a minute. You want to play in the back yard with Ashton? Hayden asked Ava. Ava's sad face turned into a bright smile. Yes! I don't wanna go home for awhile, it's so boring there! Ava said as she took Ashton by the hand an started to pull him with her to the back yard. Ashton laughed an went along with her. Charlie smiled as she watched the children run to the swing set an start up the ladder to the slide. They aren't bothered by anything, they don't care what's going on, they just want to play an have fun, I kinda envy them. Charlie stated as she watched them play. What I wouldn't give to be a kid again. She added. Hayden laughed. I know what you mean. Worry about nothing, just being bored. I been a nervous wreck all day. I just want to have fun. Hayden stated as she watched the children play as well. She turned to Xavier, who immediately caught her gaze. He turned to face her. So, what did you need to talk to us about? Xavier asked. Charlie turned to her as well and wrapped her arms around herself. Xavier looked at his wife and pulled her against his side. She unwrapped her arms from around herself an put them around his waist. He gave her a peck on the forehead an turned his attention back to Hayden. Hayden took a step closer to them as Attica stayed in her seat an Devlin stood there with his hands in his pockets waiting for her to ask. Well, I need you to do me a favor. I know it's the grand re-opening of Club Blue Moon tonight but, I really need you to call a meeting. I have to get Amony around everyone who lives here. We need to find out who is betraying us. It's only four thirty-five right now. If we hurry they can all be back at the Club before the grand opening. Hayden explained. Xavier sighed and looked down at the ground. When he looked back up he just stared at her for a moment and then looked over at Devlin. Devlin nodded. He knew that they needed to find this person before they were able to cause anymore damage. They all didn't know how long this person had been in Ava's head. It could be from the day she was born for all they knew. Amony said that Ava was still showing signs of all light and no darkness but who knows what this person was capable of. They didn't know the extent of this persons powers or what they were for that matter. Xavier cleared his throat an looked back over at Hayden. Okay, I will call everyone here. I know this is very important an it has to do with each an every one of us. I also know that Ava's life depends on it. So, I will have everyone at the Pack House in an hour, have Amony there. We will do the rest. Xavier explained as he ran his hand through his blonde hair. Charlie can you help Hayden with the children. Devlin an I will round everyone up. I'm gonna try to get most of them on the phone. If you run into anyone tell them that the meeting is for the reopening of the club tonight. Nothing more. Okay. Xavier explained to her. Charlie nodded an smiled at him. She leaned in and stood on her tip toes to give him a kiss. He kissed her back. I love you. Be careful. We don't know if they know about Attica performing the spell. They may still think they are spelled. We don't know. So be on alert. If they have found out they may have already taken off. Xavier shrugged his shoulders as he explained. Charlie nodded an gave him another quick peck on the lips. Hayden walked over to Devlin an wrapped her arms around him. I love you baby, so much. I want you to be careful too. We are always careful. Charlie, the kids an I will be fine, Attica and Amony will be with us too. After this is over we can have her put the wards back in place. Hayden stated. Devlin gave her a smile an  kissed her on the forehead. I love you too baby, more than you will ever know. As for Xavier an I, we will be fine. Devlin explained as he let go of his wife and walked over to Xavier with a slap to his shoulder. Xavier laughed. Yeah we are the toughest men around here. No need for us to be careful. The asshole doing this, they need to be careful. Xavier said with a flash of his wolf eyes. They were glowing an he was getting angry by the second. Charlie rubbed his back an he instantly calmed down. He turned an looked at his wife. He gave her a grateful smile. Thanks Love. Devlin, you ready. Because now I am an I need to go right now. Xavier stated angerly. Devlin gave him a big smile. Oh yeah Brother, I'm ready. 

After an hour of calling everyone an getting them to the Pack House. Everyone was there. Xavier walked around the big yard with Devlin. They had all gathered outside in the front yard since there were so many of them now. Fane and Dena sat on the porch steps talking, as Xavier an Devlin walked over to them, Fane stood. Hey Boss, what's going on? I thought you wanted us at the Club for the opening. Fane asked curiously. Xavier nodded an put his hands in his pockets. Yeah, I just needed to get everyone together to explain some of the ground rules. I've added a few and I wanted to make sure that everyone knew them. Xavier said as he took his left hand out of his pocket an ran it through his hair. Fane tilted his head to the side an gave Xavier a look that said "your hiding something". Boss, no offense but I have known you a little over five years now. I know something has happened. I know you aren't telling me everything, I also know that I am a vampire an I'm not on the level of your Pack but I would really like to know what's going on. You know that you can trust me. Fane explained as he looked back an forth from Xavier to Devlin. Fane, I know I can trust you man, you have fought with me, side by side an I trust you with my life. You are apart of my pack. I don't care that you are a vampire. We just need to figure out a few things and talk to everyone, then I will explain after. Fane nodded slowly and then looked down at his feet. Devlin looked at Devlin with wide eyes an they turned an walked through all the people to the front of the group where Amony, Hayden, Attica, and Charlie stood. Aunt Lily had stayed behind to watch the kids at Hayden an Devlin's house. They knew that she had nothing to do with this evil. Amony had read her anyway against their wishes but explained that they couldn't rule anyone out. Xavier grabbed the bull horn from Charlie an gave her a smile. He turned to the crowd an pushed the horn to quiet everyone down. This is where Amony would start the reading while he explained the new rules. "Okay! Everyone, Listen up. As you all know, We are having the Grand Re-opening of the newly remodeled Club, Blue Moon. Everyone started clapping. After Xavier let them calm down he began again. I have set some new rules since we have knew members of this family that have different feeding habits than the wolves do. FIRST RULE! No feeding in the Club. That means no feeding off of the human customers! If they consent and if they already know of vampires, then you bring them back to your house. WITH CONSENT! Do not do it in the club. SECOND RULE! DO NOT EXPOSE ANY OF US! If you find your mate, which most, if not all, already have, then you can tell them about werewolves an vampires an the whole sha bang. But you are not to speak of vampires an werewolves or anything of the supernatural community. Most will think you belong in the looney bin anyway. Most do not believe in us. But every now and then you will find one that believes an they will follow you home an then we will all be exposed. I don't want any hunters snooping around here, then you all know what we will be forced to do and we don't like to kill unless we absolutely have too. THIRD AND FINAL RULE! DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT Transform in the club. If you get angry an feel like your wolf, or your fangs are about to come out, then leave or lock yourself in the office. You will be punished if you transform in front of humans. I don't want to kick anyone out of this pack or off this property but I will if I have too in order to protect everyone here. If you accidently transform, make sure you do not come straight home. You will lead either the hunters or as humans call them, the crazies here. The humans call people crazy when someone does believe in our kind. So we all need to be extra careful when there are humans present in the club. ANYONE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?! Xavier asked after he went over the rules. First hand up was Michael's. One of elder Jordan's twins. Yes! Michael? Xavier pointed to him. What if one of the customers knows what we are an tries to tell everyone? Michael asked. Xavier thought about that for a minute an looked at Devlin. He looked back at Michael. Then we get one of the vampires to compel them to forget, if they are screaming or yelling nonsense then drag them out of the club an then call one of the vampires to come so that they can do what they need to do. Compel. If that doesn't work, last resort, we let them go. Remember, no one will believe them anyway. Michael looked over at his mate Briana and nodded. Briana raised her hand. Yes! Briana? Xavier said. Are we aloud to drink an party as well? Even if we are working. It's not like we get shitfaced. Briana asked with a smile. Xavier laughed. Yes, You are aloud to drink and dance, party your heart out if you want, but you must be able to perform you job duties as well. Your not just there to party. You are there to put your part in and pull your own weight. Remember this is how we are able to provide for everyone an build your own houses, give you your own cars an credit cards. Xavier explained. Briana gave a thumbs up. They had really started fitting in around the property an learned that it wasn't so bad, his brother David an his mate Heather on the other hand were still a little disruptive on the rules. His brother David didn't like to be told what to do and that was his only problem. He knew Heather would follow along on whatever David agreed on, she was the only one with a problem when she showed up here with Briana. She had thrown a big fit like a child. It had taken David weeks to get her on board with being his mate. Xavier thinks she is still a b***h but he couldn't throw Michael's twin brother out and expect him to be okay with it. Xavier looked around at everyone an then looked back at Amony. She still had her eyes closed. He needed to stall for a little while longer. Anyone else have any questions? Xavier asked again. No one raised their hands. It just got silent for a few moments. Okay, I have one more thing I'd like to discuss. I need everyone to be on their best behavior. The color scheme for tonight is Black, White an Purple. Everyone who is working the club tonight should already have their attire. Does everyone have it? Xavier asked. Everyone who was working shook their heads an answered with a yes. Okay, since that is taken care of, I need to ask everyone if they agree to the rules an understand them? Xavier asked. Everyone answered at once, He heard them all say yes. The Club will open at ten tonight an we will close at three in the morning. There are rooms upstairs in the club if some of you would rather stay there than making the trip home. It's not a long drive but it sure feels like it at Three in the morning. Xavier laughed an a few others joined him. Xavier looked back at Amony again. She had her eyes wide open staring straight ahead. He couldn't make out who she was staring at because their were so many people. He looked all around. Okay, If no one has anymore questions, you may go about your day. Xavier said as he sat the bullhorn on the ground an made his way over to Amony. Hayden, Devlin, Attica an Charlie were already surrounding her. Xavier came up on her right. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. Amony wiped at them as the tears started to fall. Amony? Who is it? Xavier asked nervously. Amony wrapped her arms around herself as if she was cold even though it was still warm in August. It's, It's ................. It's, Hunter an Kensley,  It is both of them. I'm sorry Xavier. Amony said sincerely. Xavier looked down at the ground in thought. No, that doesn't make sense. They have no powers. They can't get into anyone's head. It doesn't make sense Amony. How? How are they doing it then? Are you sure that you read them right? Xavier asked. Amony looked him in the eyes. Xavier, I read them three times, I didn't want to believe it either. I don't know how they are doing it either, but let's go find out. Let's ask them. Amony said looking offended. Xavier nodded. Okay, Let's go talk to them. All of us. Xavier said as he turned and walked in the direction he last seen Hunter an Kensley along with their daughter Kena. He was thinking the whole way over that Amony read them wrong, or it could have been that she was sensing it from the people that were standing around them. There was no way that he believe it was them. Hunter had saved his life in that last battle. He didn't want to believe it was him. He had known this man since he was little. He hoped with everything that she was wrong. He was going to prove it. Charlie caught up to him an grabbed his arm. Wait, Xavier, Xavier please stop. She said as she tugged on his arm. Talk to me! Charlie exclaimed. Please Baby. Stop. She yelled trying with all her might to get him to stop power walking. She tugged really hard an he finally stopped. He didn't turn around. He put his hands over his face. Charlie, I can't....... I just can't. I don't want to believe it. I can't believe it. Generations of his family, has grown up here, they were born an died here. It can't be him. Charlie rubbed his back an slowly walked around him. She grabbed him around the waist an hugged him tight. He still had his hands over his face. Babe, Look at me. Please. She knew this was going to be very hard on him. He shook his head, the tears welling up even more. The is no reason good enough. No reason at all to betray your own flesh and blood. Nothing they say will be good enough, we were the ones they were supposed to be helping. We took her in an she is the one that turned him against us. There is no way in hell Hunter agreed to this.
