They all went down to the game room. Ava and Ashton were playing on the computer while Amony sat on the couch beside them. She had her eyes closed. She was concentrating on reading Ava. She opened her eyes when they all walked into the room. She gave them a big smile and walked over to Hayden and Charlie an gave them a hug. Good to see you two lovely ladies. Amony said as she looked at each of them. We don't spend as much time together anymore. It would be nice to hang out again. You know just like the old days. Amony stated with laughter. Hayden laughed and gave her a big smile. It's only been a week. I know five years ago, we spent every single day together, we were fighting the Devil's Flag and everything else they threw at us. How about we start making a point to see each other at least two to three times a week. Hayden laughed. Charlie looked over at Amony. It works both ways you know. You can always stop by anytime you want. She added. Amony laughed. I guess you do have a point there. I guess we all get busy. Amony said. Hayden's face got serious an she walked up close to Amony. She leaned in an whispered to her. Did you get a read on her? I really need to find out what's going on. Hayden said quietly. Amony looked at her with a vague expression. Let's go upstairs an let the children play. We adults need to talk. She said seriously. When they all got to the dining room table an sat down. Amony sighed an looked over at Hayden. She is still all light Hayden, but............................. I know you won't agree with me, but, we need to train her so that she can release some of that power. It's building an building an building and she needs to learn how to release it. When I tried to access her mind, I was only in there for a split second and it was like she knew instantly an threw a wall up. I don't know how she learned to do that, but she did it. When I was in there for that split second, I seen a man, he was very tall, he sat with a woman at a table in a small cabin, her hair was jet black, like yours Hayden. The man though he had salt an pepper hair an his eyes were a bright green. Soon as the couple looked at me that's when the walls came up. It was like I was thrown out. Amony explained. Hayden looked at Amony with her mouth hanging open an a look of shock on her face. Charlie grabbed Hayden's hand. What is it Hayden? She asked with worry. Hayden looked at Charlie an back at Amony. You seen my parents. That couple you just described are my parents. How? How are my parent's in her mind? She has never even seen a picture of them? Hayden said as a tear slipped down her cheek. Amony looked over at Attica, then to Charlie then back to Hayden. I don't know but I'm sure we can find out. Amony stated as she stood up and went towards the basement stairs. They all looked at each other for a moment before getting up to follow her. 

Attica mixed a few herbs and some oils to perfect the spell. She hadn't done this spell since she had helped Hayden to see her parents six years before. She went over the ingredients in her head and checked each of them off. She sighed an turned to look at them. Hayden, are you sure about this? You know how dangerous this was the last time. Attica asked nervously. Hayden walked over to her an took her hands in hers. Attica, I trust you. You did this spell the last time, I wouldn't ask you again if I knew you couldn't get it right. I trust you with my life. I love you like a sister. You can do this Okay. Hayden said as she dropped Attica's hands an gave her a hug. When she pulled back Attica nodded. Okay, I just worry. You know this. Also... I love you like a sister too. I would never want anything bad to happen to you. To any of you. Attica said as she looked around at each of them. They all gave her a smile. She turned back to her work an finished the spell ingredients. When she gathered everything that she needed an walked over to where she was going to perform the spell she stopped an looked back at Hayden. I really think it's a good idea to wait for Devlin. He is the one that brought you back to us the last time. We really should wait. They will be back in less than an hour. Attica said as she looked down at her watch. When Hayden shook her head, Attica looked over at Charlie. Please, Tell her to wait. You know it's true, you were here the last time we did this. Attica explained nervously. Charlie looked over at Hayden. She does have a point Hayden. It's only an hour. Charlie suggested. Hayden sighed. Look, I really need answers, I will text him an tell him where to come when he gets home, I'll wait thirty minutes, then we are starting this. Hayden said as she pulled out her phone an sent a quick text to Devlin. She got a response right away but decided against checking it because she knew he would try to talk her out of it. She put her phone back into her pocket and walked over to the couch an flopped down. Attica smiled at Charlie an Amony knowing that she had gotten her way. Hayden didn't know it yet, but she would wait until Devlin arrived. Attica knew that right when she sent him that text he was on his way as fast as he could get here. She didn't know how she knew but she just knew it. At least Devlin knew the risks of the spell. She thought to herself as she sat in the chair across from Hayden. Charlie an Amony sat on the couch next to Hayden. Now What? Charlie asked. Hayden looked over at her an sighed. We wait. She said with agitation. 

Twenty minutes later they heard the back door burst open. HAYDEN!!!!!! HAYDEN!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!! CHARLIE!!!!!!! AVA!!!! ASHTON!!!!!!! Devlin yelled from upstairs.  Hayden stood and walked to the bottom of the stairs. Down Here!!!! she yelled. A moment later she seen the door swing open and Devlin ran down the stairs. Xavier was right behind him. Thank Goddess you didn't start yet! What are you thinking? You know how dangerous that spell is. Remember the last time we barely got you back! Devlin yelled as he hugged her tight. When she pulled back from the hug to look at him, she smiled. It's Okay. I was going to wait on you, I just wanted to make them a little nervous, let them know how serious I am and how dire this situation is with Ava. I need answers Devlin. We need answers. Hayden explained. Where is Ava? Devlin asked as he scanned the basement. She is in the play room. They were in the game room but they got bored playing on the computer. Hayden stated. Okay. Well, I don't want her to see you under that spell. Is she alright? Has she had any episodes today? Devlin asked with concern. Hayden smiled. No, not today. She has been great. Hayden answered with a smile. That's good Sweet Heart. What did Amony have to say when she read Ava? Did she have any answers? Devlin asked. Hayden gave him a sad smile. She got thrown out of her mind by my parents. Hayden commented dryly. That is why Attica is putting me in again. This is the only way to get some answers Babe. I need to talk to them. To see why they are protecting Ava's mind, and why they are protecting it from our Angel. Hayden said with watery eyes. She wanted to cry but she would save those tears. She knew that her parents were the only ones that could give her answers. She wasn't sure how they were doing it beyond the grave, but she was gonna find out how an why they were protecting Ava and how they even knew she existed. Well, I'm glad you waited on me. You knew if you sent me that text that I would come home early. Didn't you? Devlin asked. Hayden nodded and smiled then stood on her tip toes to give him a kiss. That was answer enough for him. Soon as Hayden pulled away he smiled at her. Xavier and I were about done anyway. We just had one more banner to hang. He called Aleski and Fane an told them to do it right before opening. So I don't have to leave again tonight. He grabbed her around the waist an pulled her closer. I can help you get the answers that we need. Devlin said quietly so that Ava couldn't hear him. I'm gonna go check on her. You wanna come? Devlin asked. Yeah, she is probably just playing, but she will be excited to see you. Hayden said as she walked over to the playroom door an just before her hand reached for the knob the door flew open an Ashton ran right into her. Auntie Hayden!!!! Uncle Devlin!!! Something is wrong with Ava!!!!! He yelled in his tiny voice. Amony an Attica came running out of the spell room with Xavier and Charlie following close behind. Charlie ran over to Ashton and picked him up. Mommy!!!! he yelled. Hayden ran into the play room an seen Ava. Her jaw dropped. She started over to her an Amony grabbed her arm. Let me Go! She is my daughter! I need to help her. Hayden snapped. Hayden!! You must not touch her! Her power is out of control right now. Look at her! If you touch her it may kill you instead of throwing you across the room! Amony yelled. Attica walked slowly to the door to the play room and looked in. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Ava hung suspended a few feet from the ground as if she was being held by an invisible force. Her eyes were white and they were emitting a bright glow while her hands were flat out in front of her, they were glowing as well. The power felt other worldly. There wasn't a hint of evil in it but it felt very powerfully, Godly powerful. Amony took a few steps towards Ava. She turned to look at Hayden. Hayden had her face buried in Devlin's shoulder while he held her tight against him. She was crying. Amony could feel the hopelessness pouring from Hayden an the worry coming from Devlin in waves. She turned back to Ava an took a few more steps towards her. Ava? It's Aunt Amony. I'm here for you sweetie. I need you to calm down for me okay. I need you to count to ten in your head an think of happy thoughts. Can you do that? Amony asked loudly since the room sounded as if a tornado was ripping through the room. No response. Amony closed her eyes and tried to get a read on Ava since there was no line of communication with her. She focused with every thing that she had. She used powers that had laid doormat for five years. She finally penetrated her mind. Soon as she got through, the couple was there. They were telling her to breathe. They were telling her to count to ten. The same thing Amony was trying to tell her. Amony took two steps into her mind and the couple turned to face her. Who are you! The man bellowed with authority. Why are you in our grand daughters mind!!! The woman yelled. I am a friend of your daughters, she even considers me family. Amony stated calmly. I am an Angel of the Goddess. I am here to help Ava. She added. The woman took a few steps towards Amony. I've seen you...... in Ava's thoughts. I am Michelle, Hayden's mother. Ava's grandmother. This is Hayden's father an Ava's grandfather, David. Amony squinted her eyes. How are you here? In Ava's mind space? You guys are dead. How is this possible? Amony questioned. Well, that is the thing, we are not .......................................... dead. We had to tell Charlie's parents to tell Hayden that to keep her safe. We hadn't completely perfected our magic back in the day when Hayden was little. So, to protect her from the Dark Lord, we had to hide ourselves. We had a very powerful witch spell us to stay hidden so that he could not track us. That is all he wanted was Hayden. He told us over an over she was the key to the super naturals freedom. He still cannot track us. Michelle stated. Amony held up her finger to stop her. We killed the Dark Lord, you can come out of hiding now. Amony explained. Oh dear girl. He may be dead, but his cause will never be gone. His group is still out there. Michelle explained. No, we killed all of the evils ones an healed the innocent ones. Amony stated. Sweetie,  there will always be more. Michelle stated dryly. Amony shook her head. It's been five whole years. She said more to herself, not believing what she was hearing. Amony looked at Michelle an David. So, What is happening here? Why is Ava doing all this with her powers? Why is she having these episodes? It is scaring her parents to death. Hayden is out there balling her eyes out right this minute. Amony questioned while raising her voice as she spoke. David stepped closer to Amony. This is for her own good. We have been training her, she knows what is coming. She has seen it. She has visions just like her mother. She is smarter than her own mother knows. She keeps quiet because she knows it's a matter of life or death for her parents. We don't keep anything from her. David snapped. Amony stepped closer to him, where his face was mere inches from hers. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR HAYDEN AN DEVLIN'S CHILD!!!! HER MOTHER DIDN'T WANT THIS LIFE FOR HER!!!!! Amony yelled in his face. David started laughing an took a step back. I can feel your power, it is nothing compared to what Ava can do. When she gets older, we want her to be able to protect everyone she loves without help. We regret everyday, keeping this side of Hayden hidden from herself. If we would have just informed her of what she really was, she could have trained an defeated the Dark Lord an all his followers, because what you seen five years ago. That wasn't even the half of it. Now we are coming up on the max allotment for her power to grow. We must close her mind now. We can only train her a little at a time or it will hurt her. David clapped his hands. Amony looked around frantically, there was nothing for a second. When she closed her eyes and opened them again she turned to see Hayden staring at her with red rimmed eyes. She looked back to where Ava was. Devlin had her in his arms. Daddy!!!!! Your back!!! I missed you. Ava yelled as Devlin picked her up. Hayden furrowed her brows an walked over to Amony. Amony still had a look of shock on her face. Hayden grabbed Amony by the hand an pulled her out of the room into the spell room. Amony? What did you see? Hayden asked nervously. Amony looked Hayden into her eyes. I seen, I thought, I don't think, I'm sure you told me, I just really seen them, I spoke to them. Amony rambled. Amony? Who???? Please tell me, I'm really freaking out here. That was the longest episode she has had yet. For a good two minutes you seemed like you weren't here. It was like you were gone? Hayden stated. Now, Who are you talking about???? Hayden added. Amony looked at her again after she got her head straight. Hayden, I seen an spoke to your parents, they are alive, they are training Ava. I was trying to get more answers when your dad ended the whatever you call it? Cause I am a little confused at the moment. I still don't fully understand what happened? Your mom said something about a powerful witch hiding them with a spell an that they had to tell you they were dead to protect you. They said the Dark Lords followers will never end. They will keep coming. I don't understand. I need to get more information. I need to go in again. They will probably have me locked out now, since I actually got in, I actually really got in this time. They had to have let me in? Then why would they question who I was when I did get in? Amony kept rambling asking herself questions she had no answers too. She looked up at Hayden who looked more confused. I'm sorry Hayden. I need to get more information to let you know what's truly going on. I'm afraid they left me with more questions than answers. Amony explained. Hayden tilted her head. She got quiet for a few long moments. I'm sorry Amony, I'm not sure if I heard you right? Did you really just say that my parents are alive an that they are training my daughter? They are in her head, her mind? Hayden asked with confusion an hurt written all over her face. She wiped at the tears running down her cheeks and looked at Amony expectantly. Amony shook her head yes. Yes, Sweetie, they said that they are alive an trying to train Ava. They said they made a huge mistake with you by not telling you who you really were. Now they are trying to make up for it. Amony explained nervously. BY GOING AGAINST MY WISHES?! Hayden yelled. I did NOT want my daughter to have this life! I need to find them. I NEED answers. Hayden yelled as she turned and walked out the door, slamming it behind her.
