Chapter 10 Why Me?

Our upcoming party is already near I bought prince charming outfit. At the fitting room I saw myself at the mirror. I told to myself. What if fairy godmother is real? What if I met her? What if she granted my request to have a time to dance with her at the party even until 12 midnight?

Veronica called me she said her sister Mary woke up from almost one year of sleeping. I’m so glad to hear it from her. I don’t understand how I felt when Veronica said Mary is already recovered from comatose.

I went back at the mansion. I decided to read her diary again.

(Maddox laid on his bed. He started to read Marguax’s diary)

Dear Diary,

I’m so excited for our upcoming ball to be held on 25th of October 1523 exactly on my birthday. I can’t wait. I bought blue gown. With butterflies designs.

My parents decided to moved my special occasions because of our acquaintance party. My classmate Elizabeth wrote a love story. She is planning to give it to me soon.

I asked her if she is prepared for our upcoming party. According to her she don’t want to go. I’m curious why. She said she don’t have a partner. I said to her I’m willing to find a partner for her.

I was shocked when she said she wanted me to be her date on the said ball.
