Tick-tock, Tick-tock... It was at this point that as though you could hear the sounds of an analog clock as they looked into each other's eyes. Everyone on the team has fallen silent as they wait outside the wall of hanging curtains. The way their eyes bore into the white cloth of the fabric, they should have already made a hole in it. So, when at the exact moment the layers suddenly has moved, others have made a surprised jolt and now is trying a little to look away but can't even tear themselves from the standing Human Code Subject; 18041216 (Four) has already hidden his face behind a paper bag, which has been tainted by blood given the fact that it has been clean for the past three days. That is quite strange to look at. "In one minute, make your decision." As soon as he said it, he walked away from the team. "What is this a minute?" BG Lace can't stop the curiosity from kicking in, and he asks right away which of them has met their Captain's glare. "I mean, how is it going?" "It means that the Senior Four agreed." "Did he?" Who doesn't know what this one was saying? They've seen him cry, beg, and be kicked by the more powerful at him. It is enough to make you admire this young man a little bit though his idiocy, on the other hand, must be dealt with. Deserell, who had sighed, looked them in the eyes, and his eyelashes were moving as he blinked and determinedly said, "I know he must want to live!" "Are you certain about it?" Hearing their Captain's voice, they immediately silenced them. "I think so," Deserell responded. He only cares about the other colleague's survival. His brother Far has already been infected, and though he cannot get along with this one hateful guy, he still has a bit of care for him as fellow teammates as the person whom shared the similar group before. Yet, at the back of his mind, he really does not want to be alone. And, Sarpencia was able to see a portion of the man's thoughts. A terrified young man who does not wish to lose his friends that he was used to be with. Other, or even himself, surely had that feeling in his younger days, but this is a battlefield. Anything can happen at any time. "Know the consequences of your actions if you're going to make this decision for your friend's life." Deserell was unable to speak. Of course, the Captain would not agree with this. Although from the fact that Deserell stated that Human Code Subjects could help the dying person with their unique blood. That is not to say that such thoughts are held by everyone. The people had never read a report or been given one by the Chief Scientist. This raises suspicions among some of the members as they look toward the young researcher, or it is possible the other has read too much on his own. "I would leave this up to your choice as his friend. But if it doesn't work, I'll kill him before you have a chance to say anything." Sarpencia reminded as he left for Hulian's side to discuss something related to the recent events, and as well as to follow up their next plan in leaving. Deserell looked around at the others who had nothing to say to him. Making awkward glances from one to the other. Then, he decided not to bother any longer. He proceeded to 18041216 (Four) figure to make his final decision, as one minute isn't that much longer anyway. "Remember, it was up to him if he could live up to it." That was what the Human Code Subject told him. By using their black blood on normal humans, it isn't worth it. They will either die in the process or now become lower-level versions of themselves. Afterwards, the crowd fell silent once more as they waited. Now it was not the time for decisions, but rather for results. Once the figure emerged from behind the white curtain everyone's eyes wanted to turn away so they will not appear looking like being intrigued to see what the other has done, even though they are aware of the use of 'special' blood, but after seeing 18041216 (Four) walk out without even a sign of bleeding on his arm, some people who loves jumping to conclusions is now ashamed. Hulian immediately asked his partner, "Did you give him your blood?" As expected, there was no response. "Are you even permitted to do this?" Hulian felt compelled to cut his tongue a little when his companion responded to him, as if he were just treading on a land mine. It sounded more normal than any kind of previous conversation between them, but why was he getting chills all over his back when the other person spoke such words? "Am I not allowed to?" Hulian raised his hand as though he was going to defend himself after saying something very wrong. Then he remembered his position being one of a dignified captain. Taking a quick look at himself, he says, "I mean nothing ill at my words, I'm just curious as to why Seven has refused to do so." "If you come across one of them, make sure to double-check your own strength before making any bad decisions." By saying that, the question was ignored, 18041216 (Four) has created the space of void in the side. "Wait," Hulian said as he turned around seeing the thing he thought would help," can't you help me to teleport the rescued people back to the base?" Because these Human Code Subjects are capable of doing a portal at least. Then with that they can simply transport their rescued people through the scary looking but, indeed, a passageway. "No." "No?" "I can't." 18041216 (Four) stated. Hulian was taken aback and had no idea what it meant. As a result, he had to ask again. "Why are you saying no? Can't you teleport them to the other side?" 18041216 (Four) made a slow nod with his head. "Why, eh?" "I don't have the ability." "Huh? But what exactly is this?" Hulian points to the ripped void space beside them. It doesn't make sense that the other don't have the ability but can teleport himself around. "I don't have a link. Twenty-five is the one who has a link." Link? What exactly is that? Hulian wanted to ask again, but he was a second late behind, since the other was already stepping through the portal with the bidding words, "Don't ever try to fight against them, and run." Then there was silence, and the eyes of the rescued people were filled with awe and thousands of questions within their silent gaze.
