DON'T FALL ASLEEP

1918 Words
"Oh, lovely creatures." Says the figure, who appears to be a man in human terms. He is dressed in very strange clothing that could be described as half-naked. It conveys a very well-built body along with those abdominal muscles that the four people could see as well as all the plethora of accessories draped over this figure's body. Behind this man, there were sounds that were like chains clanking together, and in the human eyes, they could see a set of chains connected to the back skin of the figure. But it had its own breath as it moved around. It began with crawling on after the dead bodies. From the corner of their eyes. Those things that look like a pair of metal chains began to soften, altering itself to become a bit more of a kind of slippery flesh, and it divided into six or nine red tentacles of meat. Thereafter, it went to the human corpses lying on the ground. It went above over the bodies, expanding itself as if a mouth was beginning to open, and all of it began sucking all of the remaining human blood. As it is slowly reducing everything to bones. Witnessing it left the four humans in cold sweat and terror-stricken. That it felt very surreal to them. Is this really happening? Or are they hallucinating? Perhaps they were killed by the large beast that was chasing them? Right? All of their thoughts have begun to rise into more negative states and falsehood. Except that, despite the dread of the current situation, they are unfortunately still wide awake. Yuheiyo is focused on what is in front of him. Since they couldn't move, there were high chances they would become this guy's next meal, and that was not what he had hoped for when he had decided to join this Special Team Unit. He will not face death here. He's not going to die easily here. Feeling the black liquid on his shoes. He looked at the man warily who was busy moving strangely around Deserell, likely observing the other human's face. Perhaps the man was taken aback by their almost similar appearance. "Oh, perfect, perfect." The guy kept on repeating himself like a broken record. The half-naked figure then approached Roya, who was too scared to speak and began sniffing their female companion. Despite his fear, Yuheiyo pointed his gun at the figure and yelled angrily, "Stop doing that! Stop what you're doing!" It drew the other man's attention. Which his reaction to Yuheiyo's angry tone was negative. The unnamed figure charges toward him with a lot of murderous intents, and in an instant, the man's white slender hand has reached for his neck and is poised to snap it to get rid of it from the body. But Yuheiyo had no intention of dying here or dying without a fight at least, as he shot the other's chest, causing it to bleed the color of dark blood as well as winced a second there. But who is he? Yuheiyo is just a young researcher with no special abilities like any Human Code Subjects or even the Military Government's Special Team Unit. So, when the foreign existence used one of its tentacle to mercilessly stab for his chest, Yuheiyo almost died on the spot. If it weren't for his instinct to struggle alive to survive and be able to avoid being hit by it, the chance of his death is hundred percent. Still, his abdomen was stabbed in the end instead. Deserell yelled for his colleague's name, and there was a terrified gasp from the other two people at the other side. When the target's area is missed, the figure expresses its displeasure by moving the tentacles once more. Roya and Leverie, on the other hand, shot the man in the back. Then, they discovered that the bullets had been able to fierce the white skin of this foreign existence, but it did not last long as the wound began to heal in less than a second. It regenerates quickly, unlike the Human Code Subject, they have tried to use a bullet back at the base for the first day of their training. The figure aggressively turns to look at those who shoot him after stopping his tentacle from ongoing to Yuheiyo. There he noticed those other two humans who were terrified and trying their hardest to flee the black liquid that was trapping them. "Do you dare!" Then the figure screamed before preparing his tentacles to attack both Leverie and Roya at the same time. Fearing for their lives and believing they will perish as a result of their inability to confront such powerful beings. The four held their breath. Then they subconsciously close their eyes, anticipating what would happen in the next few seconds. But before those tentacles could reach its targets, a pair of flying two blades cut it without stopping, and the man's figure let out a painful hiss. Then, the pair of newly used Katanas got stuck on the wall due to their powerful force, and there was a fast-pace silhouette that followed the action. The familiar blackened combat outfit has appeared as the figure of another man's expressionless bearing sprints inside to attack the man with tentacles at his back, who has also recognized this new breath. The half-naked man has jumped onto another side, stepping onto the broken scattered desks in order to avoid all the upcoming attacks of a coated blade. It really hurts his tentacles, after all, and that was all because of this new breath's weapons. It is able to cut his tentacles easily. That it also meant this figure was not any normal human, and the one he really needed to meet. With such a thought, the man lips smirked gazing straight at another pair of familiar's red eyes. That smoothly confirmed everything. When the four young researchers opened their eyes due to the strange noises and a sense of someone's presence, they saw the lone figure of 18072519 (Seven) who was just summoning the Katanas on the wall. It returned to his hands with using his blood drops. And he turned the other coated blade's blood into wisps of smoke that just vanished in the thin air, revealing a short piece of silver scimitar. He simply reattached it to its place on his belt, then he held the handle of the two katanas by his hand. Afterwards, he goes on his way attacking another man's figure aggressively with no words or hesitation. He might have possibly forgotten there are four humans on the other side that he just saved from their deaths. A fierce battle has begun to escalate around the lobby. While the four humans have found their place, they were in a dangerous line. They need to get away from here or their heads will be caught between these major forces. It was just that they were still stuck on the ground by the dark liquid that was sticking them in such a place. "Quick, Senior Leverie, think something," his voice grew more weak and low, and Yuheiyo felt his eyes became heavy. " Okay, okay, just don't close your eyes." "Brother Yu! Brother Yu!" "You can think with something, you are the scientist here..." Yueheiyo's whisper fell flat. It was not rude or demanding; he simply appeared to be speaking a bit more calmly and softly this time. Which they knew due to the wound on his abdomen as it began to bleed like a flow of the river. On the other hand, Roya bit her lower lip, embarrassed. How can she stand here and not do anything? Wasn't she the team's doctor? She must take action! Or else their teammates will die. "Okay, Mr. Yu, don't ever fall asleep, okay?" Yuheiyo sat on the ground and nodded. "Apply direct pressure on it and try to control the bleeding." Roya gave the orders. "All right," he said, putting both of his hands on the bleeding wound and winced as the pain hit him from touching it. "It's quite painful, eh?" "Has it impacted any internal organs? How do you feel? What are your thoughts? Please, Mr. Yu, do not fall asleep." Roya raised her voice, wanting to be close to Yuheiyo. It was, however, impossible because they were completely glued to the floor. "I'm not sure, but it hurts. And I, I believe, "His voice is becoming lower and quieter than mere whisper. "It started to feel numb." "Numb..that's not good." Roya's heartbeats have quickened, fearing the worse. Yuheiyo's situation is deteriorating, and if nothing is done, the young man will die in front of them. Deserell began to cry as he continued to call desperately for his colleague's name. That earned the usual shut-up word, but it has no emotional content at all, unlike their previous conversation. However, as if sensing their predicament, 18072519 (Seven) clicked his tongue as he decided to remove his left hand's black gloves. There was an unhealable cut on the skin that started to bleed. By leaping to the group's side while defending against all tentacle attacks from the man's figure. He took Leverie's hand forcefully in the other in less than a second, before he'd dropped drops of his blood on it, and some had even slid onto the floor before forming it into an uneven shape of a blade. There was no chance for the young scientist to ask or say anything. As 18072519 (Seven) reverted to having a one-on-one with the man who seemed to get ahead of certain annoyance because his opponent just went on not focusing in their battle. "You have a soft heart." uttered by the man with a playful smile on his face. " Soften your a–s" It was the first time they young people ever heard 18072519 (Seven) to speak in such a way. As if the last word wasn't good enough or sound very insulting to the other figure in spite not knowing what the insult is, the man's face became increasingly entangled. All of his tentacles retreated to his back. A sudden halt caused 18072519 (Seven) to also pause in his attacks, standing on the other side, and the pair of katanas are all dripping with the black liquid that was from that sliced flesh. While the man's gaze was fixed on him as if he was scrutinizing him from head to toe. "You're similar to me," the other stated. "And not at all." Then after a moment's delay, he added, "But you do have it." 18072519 (Seven) made no attempt to converse with an invader. He charges forward, raising his katana to sever the others on his head, but the figure are not easily defeated. It has let out the altered tentacles that have now taken a form of strange chain shapes. Then protect himself from the black-coated blades. This time, the materials are unable to cut it. The man's realising his conclusion is a bit different than what he was expecting, his bloodless lips form into another curve of smile, and then he said. "Don't think you can beat me." "I will kill you." 18072519 (Seven) said in response as he leapt into the other. His eyes held the most clear and blunt killing intent. A kind of image that the foreign figure finds a bit very amusing. Listening to the tone, he knew he had fallen in interest. Those red-eyes meant what was said.
