BIRD CALL

"Despite the fact that we work in the natural resources department and have no idea what is going on in other parts of the organization. Don't Dr. Roya think we deserve accurate information, at the very least?" Senior Lu's voice tightened as he expressed his displeasure. Why no one had informed them about the LD-Type A are still possible out here? How come the professors and masters at the Academy of Science denying their existence? Was there some things they needed to hide? A thought had never occurred to anyone in their team. To one's knowledge, being mere natural resources researchers, the job is only to seek, nurture, and study the raw materials of basic needs for the sake of mankind's future. Aside from that, one could care less as much as he or she wanted in terms of outside forces. Let a set of professional people work in other fields. Still, having the need to set foot on the Earth's surface, they have the need to know basic understanding of the current world, especially concerning the Throne Virus which is the root of almost annihilating humanity. "That, I understand, Mr. Lu, "said Roya, remembering how many new researchers from the natural resources department and any organization who demanded an explanation from encountering matters they have never heard about back in the Academy. "However, this kind of affairs cannot be just disclosed easily to any people, and so you are." "And why so?" Jane crossed her arms quite irritated as she stood beside the senior who did not like to talk. "Unspoken rules." "Unspoken rules?" Yuheiyo tasted the words in his lips as if they were all but absurd. "Yes," Roya ignored the qualms and said, "If stating the words of law is the law, then you shouldn't know this in the first place, but since you have a friend here who caught the unexpected situation. I can't hide the fact of his circumstances." "We should thank you for not lying then, but I take that there's a plausible meaning behind it."Senior Lu asserted. "That's correct." Roya wouldn't lie about it, she declared, blinking her eyes. "After we are rescued, Mr. Vani will be returned to the Academy of Science." Oh. That's quite surprising. Deserell looks down at Farhana, wanting to disagree, but no one else or someone from the military is willing to take an infected person. He'd expected that, but Yuheiyo was always pointing something out. "Ms. Roya, I think you're missing something." "What could it be, Mr. Yu?" Roya asked, raising her head in response to the younger man's hard state. "Have you ever heard of the Vani Family?" "What about the Vani family? Aren't they the Central City Military Family?" "Right." Senior Lu spoke in hushed tones. "Vani Family, the Military Generations Family, of which Junior Farhana is a member." Roya was stunned, but her expression didn't show it. It never occurred to her that this young researcher Vani was related to one of the Sol Tierra's four major families, a powerful, wealthy, and influential bloodline. If that's the case, getting this rare specimen back to the Academy of Science will be difficult, and it's probable that they'll have to settle for wishful thinking. After all, the Vanis aren't the kind of family that a regular person like her can offend. Roya is frightened that if she took action, her employment on the surface of the Earth would turn into a business joke. Jane beats her before she has time to react. "Vani? Do you mean he's a member of the Vani family that lives in Central City? Minister Vani's child?" As her eyes gleamed on it, there's a hint of excitement in the tone. "It appears you didn't believe the rumors from the other teams, Junior Sang." Senior Lu mumbled. Right, after all, it's just rumors," she said quickly and cheerfully. "I didn't think it was real." Yuheiyo snorted, not understanding what the big deal was about this. "So?" "It appears you don't know, but if Farhana is a genuine Vani family member, isn't this good for us?" It happened to gain a set of raised eyebrows from the other people waiting for her to continue what she was about to say, and with no intention of delaying any longer, her voice exclaimed, "Isn't it then fair to presume that Farhana is related to Major General Sarpencia, and that a rescue party would be dispatched as a result?" "Possible." Roya. Although the others have no words to respond, they were kinda hoping the sentiments were true in some manner. Before anyone could say anything further, there 18061819's pushing the door to the rooftop for the second time. Making the curious heads of people on the corner turn in his direction, he had abruptly interrupted the conversation, leaving them with blank expressions. "...." "...." "And here I am, wondering if this one is also involved in the undisclosed affairs Dr," Senior Lu muttered softly, attracting the attention of yet another woman. "That," Roya replied, hesitantly, "is something I'd like to know myself as well." 18061819 appears to be lost once more, if only he is aware that he is getting lost in the stairwell. In fact, this was his second appearance in this top spot while strolling around. He had previously separated from the group of young people, leaving them to fend for themselves as his body had always intended, and yet, somehow, he had managed to see them again. His red eyes glowed against the night sky, and the way he stood in the distance gave the sensation that he was a suspending view. After all, he appeared to be a feared death commander. Then, after a long period of staring, the sudden sound of a birdcall follows the silent and chilly gazes latching onto one another. There was this long, unbroken and unwavering screech, which could have been a mating call. The throaty scream continued to resound as they turned and saw a gigantic bird following an aircraft coming into the base, making the back of their neck cold.
