13 THE GOOD WITH THE BADDespite what Wayne had said about feeling all right after a full breakfast, they decided ‘to work from home’ that day. They sat in Emma’s room and worked their way through their list of telephone and email contacts. Wayne also phoned the contacts that his mother had given him. They were invited to go stay with Wayne’s mother’s cousin in Philadelphia on the following Monday, which would give them all Sunday to recover from the Saturday night gig, which might turn into a late one, and plot their route to Wayne’s auntie’s.
