Ted whispered, "Dad, what are you planning to do?"
Frank chuckled and replied, "Fortunately, I called Dangelo in advance. He's already brought the Steelhaven Guard over and should be arriving soon."
Ted suddenly understood, his face lighting up with joy. "Right! Mr. Palley is a major in the Steelhaven Guard. With Dangelo's troops, Zac and his men are done for!"
After hanging up the phone, Ted continued to use the binoculars to scan the direction of the cemetery.
Jacob walked over to Zac and whispered, "General, how should we deal with these people? Please give your orders!"
Zac glanced at the road in the distance and slowly said, "Let's wait a bit longer and see what other tricks they have up their sleeves."
Sure enough, a few minutes later, a troop transport vehicle pulled up at the cemetery entrance, followed closely by an SUV.
Over thirty fully armed soldiers jumped out of the transport vehicle, surrounding Zac and the others tightly.
At that moment, a man in his forties stepped out of the SUV, wearing a major's insignia on his shoulder. He cleared his throat and said, "Anyone who wants to commit crimes in Steelhaven will be sent straight to hell!"
The major turned to Zac and sternly questioned, "You gathered a crowd and assaulted police officers in my jurisdiction. Are you looking for death?"
Zac pointed to the group of men lying on the ground and signaled Jacob to show the seized fake police badges. He then disdainfully said, "They're all fake police officers, and they attacked us first. We were just defending ourselves."
Mr. Alfred interjected, "Major, we were just doing our job, but Zac kidnapped us and beat us multiple times. You must punish them severely!"
Zac fixed a sharp gaze on Mr. Alfred and said, "Your duty is to maintain law and order, yet you abuse your power, colluding with criminals to do harm."
Upon hearing Zac's words, the major's eyes glinted with murderous intent as he thought, 'This man knows too much; he must be dead.' He quickly issued an order. "Arrest them! Anyone who resists should be shot on the spot!"
Zac lowered his eyelids and fell silent. Instead, Jacob stepped forward and suddenly shouted, "Take off your clothes!"
A chorus of rustling sounds followed. Eleven men, including Jacob, simultaneously tore off their black coats, revealing military uniforms underneath.
The soldiers preparing to subdue them were taken aback and looked back at the major.
"You are active-duty soldiers?" Darnell Steed, the major, narrowed his eyes as he scrutinized Jacob and the others' uniforms and then shouted, "Great! Active-duty soldiers fighting in public, that's a serious offense!"
Jacob didn't even glance at the major and shouted the command again. "Display your insignias!"
Ten soldiers quickly reached into their breast pockets and pulled out insignias, slapping them onto their left arms. The insignia was shield-shaped, featuring a sword and a knife on either side, with a majestic golden unicorn in the center.
Upon seeing the insignias, the twenty soldiers surrounding them changed their expressions drastically. The Steelhaven Guard recognized this as the Unicorn Army's insignia.
In Draconia, the Southern Territory's Unicorn Army was known for being the most valiant and battle-hardened. This army had never suffered a defeat in years of warfare.
"Which division of the Unicorn Army are you from? Who's your commander?" The major's tone softened considerably.
"Which division?" Hearing this, Jacob shot the major a disdainful glance and shouted, "I am the commander of the Unicorn Army's Imperial Guard!"
"What?" Everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.
At that moment, the major looked at the insignia on Jacob's shoulder, regretting getting involved in this incident. He had initially thought the leading group wasn't significant but never expected the commander to be a major of the Unicorn Army.
Without waiting for the major to beg for mercy, Jacob shouted again, "You're pointing weapons at the highest commander—do you wanna rebel?!"
Everyone was shocked beyond belief. They all turned to Zac, realizing this person was a five-star general, the fearsome God of War. Their hands holding guns began to tremble. In the next moment, they threw their guns to the ground, knelt on one knee, and pleaded, "General, please spare us!"
"Arrest them all and take them away!" Jacob ordered. Within ten seconds, ten soldiers from the Imperial Guard had controlled the Steelhaven troops, and the major was pinned to the ground.
The major struggled and yelled, "How dare you impersonate a five-star general? I will have you court-martialed!"
Zac glanced coldly at the major and declared, "As a local guard major, you recklessly mobilized troops to harm civilians. I will execute you on the spot according to military regulations!"
The major shouted defiantly, "This isn't a military court! You don't have the right to judge me! I want to see the Steelhaven military district commander!"
Zac's eyes were icy. "You seem to have forgotten that Steelhaven is also under the jurisdiction of the Unicorn Army. Here, if anyone violates military regulations, I have the authority to deal with it."
The major's face instantly turned pale, and he went limp as two guards dragged him away by the arms.
Zac then looked at the remaining soldiers from the Steelhaven Guard. They were too frightened to make a sound, let alone look up at Zac.
At that moment, one soldier stepped forward to plead, "We're just ordinary soldiers! Whatever the major told us to do, we didn't dare disobey! Please spare us, General!"
Zac coldly asked, "Why didn't any of you report the major's misconduct? You followed him into wrongdoing! You probably accepted bribes, too, didn't you?"
The soldiers were even more terrified, their legs shaking. One cried out, "We didn't know you were a big shot!"
Hearing this, Zac smiled faintly, feeling a pang in his heart. 'This must be how my parents were bullied, right? These bast*rds who only know how to oppress the weak—letting them live another day only means more victims.'
Zac waved his hand to signal his men to take everyone away. Soon, a series of crisp gunshots echoed through the forest.
"Jacob, go check on the Steelhaven Guard. If you find a capable and outstanding captain, promote him directly to major," Zac instructed Jacob as he walked toward the car. "It's getting late; take me to the Taylor house."
Unfortunately, Ted missed the show of punishment for these scumbags. As soon as he saw the Steelhaven Guard vehicle, he eagerly rushed down the hillside toward the cemetery, dreaming of getting his revenge on Zac.
When Ted arrived at the cemetery with a few bodyguards, the place was already empty, with only a large area of blood-soaked earth left behind. Ted was overjoyed, thinking Zac was dead. 'Now that there's no one to protect Taylor, I can finally get rid of her from Harper Group.'
At that moment, Zac received a call from Rabbit while in the car.
"General, we've tracked down the source of the video through hacking. We'll soon find the culprits who killed your parents."
Zac suppressed his urge for revenge and told Rabbit, "Good. Speed it up. I can't wait to punish those murderers myself."
