Taylor looked a bit apologetic. She thought to herself, 'Zac helped me secure this deal because of his connections, but now this happens. I feel bad for him.'
Zac took a couple of steps away and answered the call, directly asking, "Are you calling about the fabric?"
On the other end, Max replied respectfully, "I wouldn't dare. After all, you're Levi's contact, and I can't afford to be disrespectful."
Earlier, Levi had kept Zac's identity a secret from Max, only telling him that Zac was a friend who could be helpful with their business dealings.
