The sweet smell of the thick potato-filled Sofia's nose. The aroma reminded her of how hungry she was. She had not put any substance in her mouth since she ate breakfast this morning. "I can see the burning hunger in your eyes," Alice joked as she placed both of their plates on the neatly arranged dining table. Alice settled on the chair facing Sofia.
