The wall displayed the next riddle: "What grows in the sun's warm touch, Yet hides from the world's rough clutch. I'm soft beneath the feet's gentle sway, But can conceal secrets night and day. What am I?" The players stared at the riddle, their minds racing. Ann was thinking deeply, her eyes narrowed as she tried to decipher the meaning behind the words. Marcus was muttering to himself, trying to find a clue that would lead him to the correct answer. Tim, on the other hand, was not as confident as before, a hint of doubt on his face as he wondered if he was truly prepared for this challenge. The Host's voice boomed, "Time's ticking! Who will be the first to smash the buzzer?" The players were frozen, their eyes fixed on the riddle. The seconds ticked by, and the tension was palpable. The room was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. The only sound was the ticking of the clock, reminding the players that time was running out. After 5 minutes of silence, Marcus moved. He slowly lifted his hand and smashed the buzzer, the sound echoing through the room. He said with a firm voice, "I have an answer!" although he halted a little, showing a glimpse of his nervousness. Host: "Okay, Marcus. What's your answer?" Marcus took a deep breath and said, "Is it... grass?" The Host's response was delayed, and the players were on the edge of their seats, waiting for the verdict. The seconds felt like hours, and the tension was unbearable. Finally, the Host's voice boomed, "CORRECT! +1 riddle. You're one step closer to winning, Marcus although your point would be deducted if you do win." (eerie laugh) Marcus' face dims back as he didn’t find any excitement from getting the riddle correctly. He looked like he was stuck in a situation he couldn't escape from. Ann looked at him with sympathy, feeling a pang of pity for her fellow competitor. - Tim: 2 points - Marcus: 1 point, -10 outstanding - Ann: 1 point The Host's voice continued, " Ready for the Next riddle?: “ The players were thinking deeply, trying to find the answer. Who would be the next to smash the buzzer? Tim!" Tim's face lit up with joy, and he shouted in excitement. Ann and Marcus couldn’t hide the disappointments on their faces. They actually lost to a middle schooler. Immediately the soldiers came and herded them back to the house. What a hell of a day it has been. But none of the housemates knew that they were the trending hot search currently on the internet.
