The Host's voice echoed through the dimly lit, eerie hall, "Game 1 done. Now, onto Game 2: Obstacle Showdown + Riddles. Time limits based on ranks apply. Ms Jasmine, you won Game 1, but let's hope you can keep your points" and then he laughed maniacally. The burly men dressed in black led them to another door and inside was like an open field filled with lots of dangerous looking settings. The housemates were still trying to process their situation. The Host explained the Obstacle Showdown: - The course has mud pits, laser grids, rope climbs, and tyre tunnels. - Each housemate must complete the course as fast as they can based on their rank. - Faster times = more chances to solve riddles for points. The rules for Game 2: - Rule 1: Navigate the obstacles to qualify for wall riddle. (Round 1) - Rule 2: The first 3 housemates who gets 2 riddles correctly will compete for the 10 points. (Round 2) - Rule 3: Any wrong answer for the riddle will cost you 3 points, and if you don't have any points yet, then it will be deducted from your future points. The Host's voice again, "May the best mate win hahahahah". The housemates were scared, their faces etched with tension: - Ms Jasmine (rank 6, 10 points): "I can't afford to slip up now." - Ann (rank 3, 0 points): "I need to go fast." - Marcus (rank 1, 0 points): "I'll crush this." - Mrs Patel (rank 7, 0 points): "I'll try my best." - Jake (rank 2, 0 points): "Gonna be tough." - Tim (rank 4, 0 points): "At least something I’m good at" - Sophia (rank 5, 0 points): "Let's do this." The Obstacle Showdown began: - Marcus went first (rank 1), fastest time so far. - Jake struggled with mud pit. - Ann was quick on rope climb. - Mrs Patel surprised everyone with new found agility. - Ms Jasmine was strategic. - Sophia stumbled but kept going. - Tim surprisingly had a strong finish. Guess his agility as a child helped him. _Thud_ Chaos erupted. Sophia fell from the rope and sprained her ankle. No one stopped to help her; everyone was focused on getting points. Ms Jasmine slipped and fell in the sticky mud, making it impossible for her to move faster. Jake ran out of time and was stopped from continuing the game by the men in black. Mrs Patel had to give in to her age, panting And finally the three qualifiers were seen!!!!!! The dust settled, and the housemates processed what had happened. Ann thought to herself, "I did it! Made it by seconds”.She could help but shiver at the thought of what would have happened if she had been just a minute slower“Don't mess up the riddles." Marcus, on the other hand, was calm and collected, thinking, "Expected this. Now let's crush those riddles." Tim, who was obviously beaming with joy, was pumped up. He shouted, "WOOHOO! I did it! I'm gonna solve these riddles like a boss!" Ms Jasmine was worried, thinking, "I need to strategize for next rounds." Sophia winced in pain, thinking, "Argh, painful. Can't believe I fell." Mrs Patel was proud but wistful, thinking, "Did my best. Proud but wish I went faster." Jake was frustrated, and couldn’t help but curse lowly, "Damn it. I didn’t move faster” The 3 in Round 2: 1. Marcus (0 points) 2. Tim (0 points) 3. Ann (0 points) Results: 1. Marcus (rank 1): 6 minutes (army training showed) 2. Tim (rank 4): 23 minutes 3. Ann (rank 3): 29minutes (almost failed) These 3 qualify for Round 2: Riddle showdown for 10 points. The rest of the housemates are filled with different emotions:disappointment, pain and a little bit of anger and jealousy mixed together The game gets tougher.
