I didn't tell my 'beloved' stepsister that my father had insisted I take her to work today so that our family would look tight-knit. The old man was a messy planner, and I just didn't want to argue with him this morning—also because I knew it was going to annoy her to no end, and I wanted to see the irritation in her eyes.
