I walked her into the house. Her face was beaming with smiles, making me feel jittery. I'd give anything to make her smile like this always.
"Thanks for tonight. I enjoyed every part of it," she said, smiling a bit nervously.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it," I replied, and she nodded.
"I'll be going now," she said, making me raise my brow, confused.
"I'll go upstairs to sleep. I have work tomorrow," she said a little awkwardly, and I nodded in agreement.
"Goodnight," I said as she climbed upstairs. I was practically blushing like a teenager who just finally went on a date with his longtime crush.
