Lila's POV
"I'm so happy you're here," I said as soon as Sienna walked in. She had this special glow around her, making her look so relieved and relaxed.
"You aren't doing so bad yourself. It seems like you're enjoying your stay here," Sienna said, checking me out.
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of how Roman had been so helpful, looking after me like a child and making me feel so comfortable.
"Not like I have a choice. Roman wouldn't let me go back to my house. He's just being paranoid," I said, walking over to sit opposite her.
"I'm so grateful that he's staying with you. We might never know—Jake could send someone over to your house. I don't want you to be left alone and defenseless," she said with a worried expression on her face.
The name Jake sent a feeling of disgust
