Striding into work wasn't one of the things that I had imagined would be difficult, but I wanted to prove to him that nobody could hold me down or make me do whatever I didn't want to do. If I was making decisions, it was because I truly chose and loved them.
"Miss Blake! You sent a formal letter that you wouldn't be coming to work today." My personal assistant exclaimed as soon as she saw me, as though I was a ghost.
