Five minutes before midnight, I slowly got out of bed in total darkness, moving as slowly as possible so that I wouldn’t wake anyone up. Christina had never used her bed, as far as I knew, but Zoe also had amazing hearing, being a literal werewolf and all. I had already stashed my uniform in the bathroom, so I didn’t have to rummage around my stuff to find it.
After managing to put everything on the correctly, I slowly crept to the door, and went outside even slower. Menuka was waiting right outside my door, as promised, and I gave her a nod in greeting before closing and locking the door behind me.
