Once I finally opened my eyes, I felt different.
I was definitely back in my own body. I could feel that I was way smaller, weaker, there was an ache in my hand where Raum broke it. But there was something different, just like Raum said there would be. I had my own power. I could still feel the link to Raum’s, but there was also a power that was entirely my own. It felt… it felt incredible.
Once I stopped being in awe of my newfound power, I noticed the incredible back pain I was feeling. Above me, I could see the sky behind the treetops slowly turning from dark into shades of orange and light blue- the sun was rising, finally.
I finally looked to the side, to my body, hands, and feet, and saw the reason why I was bent all awkward. It seemed that I wasn’t the only one who passed out. Bo
