On the laptop, a female enters the Alcott kitchen, but it's not Laura, only Jennie the maid. Since he arrived at the hotel, Tom's been glued to the screen, but there's no sign of the three women. They're definitely not in Charleston. Racking his brain all night, he pondered their change of plan. They must be in Tahoe. He heard them confirm their reservation at the Constellation and watched them pack and leave. What now, he scowls in deliberation. Suddenly, he knows where to uncover their whereabouts. Rebecca, the gullible receptionist who accommodated him a few months ago, will indeed know where they are. But will she be as obliging this time?
