Chapter 24 A Disheartening Visit
With resolute determination, Nerissa and Madissa swim away, their synchronized movements a testament to their unspoken agreement. They head towards the chamber where their beloved mermen are confined, their hearts heavy with concern and a burning desire to bring them solace and support. In this moment, nothing else matters but being there for their imprisoned partners and finding a way to rectify the unjust situation they find themselves in.
They swam together through the palace, descending to another level and ma their way to the cellar. They navigated through a narrow passageway and took a left fork, which led to a smaller chamber outside the prison area. There, a guard greeted them.
"Who are you here to see?" the guard signed.
