Chapter 2

Goldenlawn; This place hasn't changed a bit all these years. James let out a deep sigh as he threw his dark shades on. He hasn't slept in the past 24 hours. All I need now is a really cold bath and a seven-hour sleep to keep me functioning again. On my way home all I could think about was my mom. She had become a victim of my father's actions. She didn't deserve to die like this. My poor sweet mother was as calm as the morning dew ever so lovely and warm.Every one said that about her. She spoke less and her hugs, ugh they were therapeutic.As I remember the sweet lullaby she would sing for while stroking my hair tears ran down my eyes..I saw her earlier this year when she sneaked away from my father to visit me and pleaded that I returned home.The horn of the car brought me back to reality

Here I am at the cursed Reed’s mansion

Mr Dandla rushed out the front door.our butler

He's aged a lil bit. He's hair was more gray and had started to limp.

And just like I wanted,I had my few hours of sleep and was interrupted by a knock on the door

After waking up later that night,I got my laptop to catch up with my company in California.

I felt like I was being watched while I was working. I called my secretary to make sure everything is in order.

I decided to take a late night drive round the city

Many lnfastructure had been constructed and Goldenlawn was beginning to look like a first class city

It made me smile but I could literally see the capital letter R shaped like dog.

These people have monopolized every single thing and the own town is completely dependent on them from crops, school,mall, Hospital,almost everything.

It made me sick to the stomach how greedy they have grown.

I got to my old school.it had lots of beauty memories

And oh,My sweet Larry.i haven't thought about her for the longest. I had rapid footsteps approaching as I got to the gym.i couldn't tell where it was coming from but I felt a gosh of wind and then a loud growl that sounded so familiar .wait I have heard this before. I tried to find where it was coming from and then I saw two large dogs.

The white one chasing a very black one but wait these weren't dogs they were wolves or so I thought. I stuttered shakingly.

The white one stopped and was staring at me

I have heard stories of wolves in Goldenlawn but that was centuries ago more like a myth.Those things are not real.The black wolf charged on the white wolf,pounced on it and scarth it's tummy.Fot some reason I got mad and yelled out

“Hey”

It growled at me

Moving closer to me

Shit I'm dead

Then we all heard a loud howl.

I'm sure of what I heard I couldn't have misheard this.

It quickly ran out through the gym back door

The other white wolf whimper but barely managed to go out too.

I had been sweating profusely

What did I just see

Wolves? In Goldenlawn.

I can't wait to leave I said as I got up dust myself and headed to my car

What the actual f**k?

I wasn't drunk or anything

I couldn't just believe those things were real.

I was restless.i got my computer.i typed in werewolves in Goldenlawn and I really want to be a lie or a myth.But a whole lot of stuff popped up.

They were the initial settlers of Goldenlawn who had kept watch over the city since the 60s .wait is this some twighlight s**t.

After this funeral tomorrow

We both started at the front yard and had done 5laps round the compound

Water? I said but he waved his hands at me indicating he didn't want one. I let him catch his breath and then he said my name in serious tone which made me nervous
