My brows furrowed in anger as I made to hit Sebastian playfully but almost immediately, everything faded into the air and I couldn't make sense of what was happening any longer. I was covered in thick smoke and everywhere kept spinning and I lost my balance.
As soon as I lost my balance, everything around me turned pitch black. I felt like I was sinking into a bottomless pit. The darkness wasn’t just around me; it was inside me, pressing down on my chest. My heart raced, thumping wildly as if trying to break free from my ribs.
