Ember's POV
"Lana.." I called softly, feeling guilty as she glared at Sebastian.
"Don't try to sweet-talk your way out of this, Ember. Stay right there and mind your business. My focus here is Sebastian."
I couldn't say anything and simply stared at her as she folded her hands akimbo and waited for a response from Seb.
"I had no choice, Lana. This is the only way out and you know it also. Since we returned the substance back to the moon goddess, we need to find a solution."
The frown on her face deepened but she didn't say anything, maybe because she knows that he was right. The library is the only solution we have left.
"You know it too, right, Lana? It's the truth. The library holds answers to so many questions that are currently running through our heads right now."
