Ember's POV
I took off the hoodie only to come face to face with Lana. My eyes widened at the revelation, what was she doing here? Why was she sneaking around and why did she dress like this?
I sighed in relief but it then occurred to me;
“Lana, what the hell are you doing here dressed like that and sneaking around like a thief?” I asked
“Ember I…”
“Don't tell me you're part of those who planned this…” I asked, ready to fight her if she was indeed teaming up with the enemies
“I wasn't…”
“Then why were you sneaking around?!” I didn't allow her to finish her sentence. I felt overwhelmed with the whole thing going on and my edges were already sharp so that if any traitor came near or maybe I discovered one, I'll make sure to use every strength in me to fight them.
