??{ 12 Days To Christmas }??
The king had it discussed with his wife and she also saw that the idea was good. Not that they really want to send the young Prince away, but they were only trying to restore Christmas into the palace.. at least for the year.
As they secretly prepared for his departure, prince Ethan on the other hand wasn't aware of the plan at hand. He kept living as nothing bothered him and it only pained the queen that she has to send him into the states.
Somehow, she was happy she was doing so. Not that it really pained her, it gladdens her heart than it hurt her. Every night she would sit by her window, staring down into the streets.
She would always try to listen to the melodious music sang by the people. Sometimes she find herself singing along with them and a bit of body movement which she find amazing.
And she can't stop wondering when her husband will decide for their son's leave. She always imagine how the entire palace will be if Christmas was introduced to it once again.
Wouldn't it be beautiful...?? She thought.
A maid came in to inform her that there was someone outside the gate who wanted to see her. She was surprised, because for a long time now, no one has requested to see her face to face.
Is there a problem? She wondered to herself.
" Who is he? " She asked.
" He said his name is Albert. " The maid answered.
" And did he likewise tell you his reasons for seeing me? " She questioned again.
" No. " She answered. " But he said it was urgent. "
" Lead the way. " The maid led the way and she followed behind.
She stopped at the gate. On seeing the stranger, she asked, " Are you the man who requested to see me? "
" Yes, your majesty. " He said with a bow.
" What is your name and how may I help you? " She questioned.
" My name is Albert, and I am here to offer help to the palace. " He answered.
" What help are you talking about? "
" Do you really want to restore Christmas into the palace? " He asked instead.
She looked at him, but ended up nodding her head. " Yes. But my husband and I have concluded on travelling him to the State, which is a relief that the Xmas will be celebrated for all. "
The man smiled. " Well, I was trying to offer you a help, but as you and his majesty has concluded on travelling him to the State, I don't think there's a need for that. "
" No, go ahead and say it. If you indeed have a solution to this, you are free to tell me now. Besides, before next year Eve, he might grow too smart to learn why we had travelled him. "
" I have someone who can change the Prince's stony heart. She is the only one who can make him see the joy behind Christmas. "
" Who is she? " She curiously asked. " Tell me and I will request for her into the palace immediately. "
" She leaves among the people and you do not have to worry about sending your men to call her, I will do it myself. And, I assure you, before the Xmas day, there will be a new transformation. Trust me. "
Queen Vero felt so much happy, that she even wish to have the girl brought into the palace now and then. " When will you introduce her to my husband and I? " She asked him excitedly.
" If her majesty will permit me, I will introduce her to you and his majesty by tomorrow morning. If possible, before the c**k crows. "
" Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. " She thanked him. " I will have this discussed with his majesty. "
He bowed his head before leaving the gate. " Phew... never thought a miracle will come one day. " She said happily to herself as she returned back to the castle.

When he returned to his home, dropping his bag on one of the chairs. He went to the kitchen to get a cup of water. He had worked a lot today and his throat had gotten so dried that he could barely get a taste of his saliva.
He noticed the house was quiet, and just then he heard a humming sound from upstairs coming down to the sitting room. He smiles at the way his daughter hummed the Christmas tune, with the tray of raw salad in her hands.
? Tan tan tan tan tan tan tan tan
? Tala la la la tala tan tan.
She spurned around, dropping the tray on the table. She froze at the sight of her father who bursted out laughing. " Oh my... " She touched her chest.
" You can always do that all the time. "
" Dad, you know you scared the sh*it out of me. I almost thought you were a robber. "
" Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. " He yawned tiredly.
" Why don't you go take a good shower and have your clothes changed while I make you lunch. Mmm? "
He smiled, leaving to his room while she went into the kitchen to cook.

The night has approached, they both sat at the dinning table, chewing on their rice and salad. She noticed her father's mood since he returned, he looked worried and bothered at the same time.
But she decided not to talk nor ask. He haven't touched his food since the first time he had just a full spoon of it, and the rest of his time, he spent it thinking.
She wondered what the problem was, he looked lost in his thoughts.
Mr Albert sat, thinking if he had done the right thing rendering help to the palace. Will his daughter accept the choice? He thought. But for some other reason, he didn't blame himself for doing what he did.
" Dad? " She called interrupting his thoughts.
" Yes, sweetheart. " He replied, taking another full spoon of his rice.
" You've been thinking for a long time. Did something go wrong? " She asked, worried.
" No, no, of course not. " He sipped his water, putting another spoon of rice into his mouth.
" Is there something I need to know? Does it have to do with mom's death? You know we've talked about this, dad, it's time you need to let go of mom and move on. "
" Look, sweetheart, it has nothing to do with your mother. "
" Then what is it? "
" I went to the palace today, I had to meet with the queen over the case in the palace. I had to talk to her because I felt I have to help. So, I told her that I know someone who can help convince the prince towards the joy of Christmas. "
" Have you met with this person you talked about, at least to let him or her know about it? "
He sighed, " Well, I didn't mention anyone else, it was you I mentioned. Although, I didn't tell her you're my daughter, I only told her I know someone who can change the Prince's heart. "
" Father! You know how rude and heartless that Prince is, he is going to have me d,ead before Christmas. There is no how I can convince him to love Christmas, it's a nature to him, Dad, he's never going to change. "
" He will, sweetheart, I trust you can do it. "
" No, he won't. I mean, even if I can, it's never going to work out. " He sighed, " Look dad, I really want to help out but, you know how heard he is and I don't think he's going to like me. Besides, I can't stay without the Christmas melody, and that human, he is going to stop me from singing my favorite songs. "
" You don't have to sing your favorite songs at his front, you can sing it anywhere apart from his room or whenever you are with him. He will hate you but trust me, he will begin to love you for that. "
" Love? " She scoffed, " He doesn't know anything about love. "
