Prologue

Silently, I walked to the dark hallway towards the office ahead of me while dragging the body with just one hand and didn't care if it leaves some smudges on the floor. Until I reached the door, I released my grip from it leaving it leaning on the wall, I looked at my hand, the one I used to grip on the body I am dragging, and used it to open the door to the office. Once I get inside, the first thing my eyes caught is the display on the wall where one thing that is different from other displays. It's a glass case where you can see what's inside. A katana. I averted my eyes to the person sitting on a chair looking outside of the window behind the desk. "You called me?" Words came out of my mouth making the person turn her head towards me to meet me in the eyes, I just gazed back at her impassively. "I have a mission for you." She looked at me dead in the eyes in her office in dim, only the full moon was our only source of light to see each other. I looked at her and dropped my revolver with a stain of blood on her desk. I could still smell the foul blood of my prey on my suit and smoke coming from my revolver, but that doesn't disgust me at all. The truth is, I enjoyed it so much that it gives me enlightenment. "And what is that," I replied in my monotone voice as I stared at her blankly, waiting for her orders. She moved her hand and took something inside of one of her drawers and placed it on top of her desk. It was a black envelope with a red stamp on it. As I focus my attention on the envelope, even though it's dim inside the office, I could still see precisely that it's shaped in a butterfly stamp. Just by looking at it, It has been used or someone held this before and there's something on this envelope that making my blood race. Why is that? Is it because the fragment of blood lingers in there? I want to hold it so badly. I glanced at her when she called me, I smirk upon hearing what I just heard. "This mission will cause your life in death, you won't be able to come back once you accept this, ihae haessnayo?" She said and asking me if I understand the consequences, those words made me chuckle, but of course, I didn't show it to her, it is unnecessary. "My life is already at death's hand. So why fear now?" I said coldly like I'm stating the fact. Before I took the black envelope on the table, I accidentally stained it with the blood from my hand but I didn't care. I stepped out of the office and grabbed the body from the wall and dragged it to where my funhouse is located. ®ALLRIGHTSRESERVED.
