Within 4 minutes 10 gorgeous girls were standing before me, greeting me and asked if I would be a new sister. I was overwhelmed and couldn’t answer any of their questions.
“Ahem. Everyone, this is Jade.”
“Welcome Jade” the girls said all together.
“She was walking in the side of the road out in the middle of nowhere, when I was on my way back here. She has no family and no place to stay.”
All the girls sighed at looked at me with sad eyes.
“I have offered Jade to stay here, if she wants to. I have not told her anything about our work, the house or about you girls. Is anyone willing to tell her about us and this place, and show her around. She is only 15, so she will be a Yellow for a few years to begin with.”
A Yellow? What the f**k is a Yellow? I must have looked so confused, cause immediately a girl raised her hand, looked me in the eyes and smiled at me.
“Good girl Celestine, I can always count on you dear. Jade, I will let Celestine here take care of you from here. You probably need some time to think it all through, so come up to my office tomorrow after breakfast and tell me about your decision. If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask any of the girls. They don’t bite.”
And then Mother turned around at left, walking up the stairs to the second floor. I was now alone with 10 girls I had never seen before, but they smiled and welcomed me. They left almost at quick as they had gathered when Mother called them, and back was me and the girl called Celestine.
