The car sped through the city, and in the deep winter of New York, snow often fell. The affluent city authorities always cleared the snow quickly, but there were still thin layers of ice left on the roads.

The driver was skilled, even on the icy roads, he drove steadily. The privately customized black luxury car had excellent performance, and the interior was quiet and warm, keeping out the noise and cold outside.

Lucas quietly adjusted his tie, then said to her, "Sorry for disturbing your rest. The recent work of the company is a bit busy."

"It's okay, you can continue your call," Ella noticed his increased speed.

Lucas had no intention of continuing his work, he politely said, "I trouble you again this time."

Ella knew the driver was a trustworthy person and was also polite. "That's what I should do."

"Are you busy recently? Did it disturb your progress on the project?" Lucas leaned slightly towards her.
