The Lost Luna

Chapter 9

I watch as Phoenix and Connor glare angrily at each other. Then Phoenix stands up and looks down at Connor laying in the floor and turns on his heels towards me. Connor grabbed his ankle causing him to fall. Phoenix then turns around and kicks Connor in the face. He stands up and looks at Connor. “I told you Connor that if you didn’t have my title ready for me when I came for it that I’d take something that meant as much to you as being alpha meant to me!” He wipes blood from his mouth and turns back to me and grins an evil grin. He starts towards me and finally makes it to my chair. He runs his fingers on the side of my face and laughs. “And it looks to me like this what means that much to you brother.” He smiles a toothy evil smile. Then he turns to Connor who looks up at him with a face covered in blood and starts reaching towards us. He laughs “oh no Connor I told you and you didn’t comply. So I’ll be taking this sweet little thing of yours until you decide to comply. Here” Phoenix says tossing a phone at Connor “whenever you decide to give up what belongs to me then give me a call.” Phoenix then pulls me up out of my chair and I start thrashing at him and kicking and screaming. “Let me go! Let go you dumbass!” I scream. But his grip only tightens and then he throws me over his shoulder. “Have a nice day everyone!” Phoenix says with a turn and makes his way out the door. “Connor!!!” I scream and start to cry. But it’s no use Connor was too weak to get up and Phoenix didn’t stop. He took me out to his car parked in the driveway in front of the pack house. He opens the back door and pulls zip ties out, the extra large ones. He then wraps them around my wrists and my ankles, and tightly to make sure I can’t slip out. He then lays me down in the backseat hovering over top of me and grins at me. “My brother sure does know how to pick them! I just wonder if you’re a fill in till his mate shows up or if you’re actually his mate. No matter you mean a lot to him so until he hands over what’s rightfully mine you’re gonna be mine.” He whispers and then kisses my neck. He then pulls away and closes the back door and climbs into the passenger seat as a larger man climbs into the driver seat. I just lay there helplessly. I want Connor, I want to go home.. I think to myself. This was a nightmare!
