Chapter 5

**Melanie POV**

The next morning I woke up early. I went downstairs to make Connor breakfast and seen that some of the maids were already cooking so I just told them to take a break and that I’d take over this morning. They were more than happy to comply and they smiled and thanked me and went on their ways. I made a pretty big breakfast for myself and for Connor and my parents as well as his parents. They were all coming over this morning for a special private breakfast with us. I made bacon, pancakes, eggs and sausage. With the choice of milk or whatever juice to drink. I went ahead and set the table for all of us and placed the food on the table. I felt an arm go around my waist as I finished setting the last cup down. I turned to look to see who it was and I knew it was him and sure enough it was. He kissed me sweetly and hugged me tighter. “How did you sleep love?” He asks chuckling. We both barely slept a wink last night due to our newly wed activities. “Well when I finally got to go to sleep I slept great!” I laughed and kissed him. “Now I made breakfast this morning and let the maids have the morning off since our parents are coming this morning. Which means you sir need to go get dressed” he just laughed at me. “What’s so funny?” I ask raising an eye brow at him. “You say I need to get dressed are you just gonna eat in your booty shorts and baggy t shirt then?” He said laughing again. I totally forgot I was still in my pajamas! I looked down and blushed with embarrassment and laughed. He walked over to me and kissed me and he said “come dear we both need to get dressed” as he chuckled and took my hand to follow him. We made our way up to our room and went to our respected closets and got ourselves dressed. I just put on a pair of black leggings with a decently kinda nice shirt. I never was one for getting all dressed up. And I wore a pair of ankle high boots with them. Connor was wearing a pair of jeans with his boots and he had just one of his plain t shirts on. It’s just our parents we didn’t need to get so fancy for breakfast with all of them.

**Connor POV**

I woke up to an empty bed and I frantically searched the whole room for Mel. But she was nowhere to be found not even in our bathroom. So I made my way downstairs to look for her. The whole house filled with the smell of eggs, bacon, sausage and my favorite pancakes! I knew where she was now. I walked into the kitchen to look and I didn’t see her. So I made my way to the dining room.
