The Lost Luna

Chapter 2

**Connor’s POV**

I stand there nervously waiting for Melanie to come through those doors. Today was the day I got to marry my first and only love! From the moment we laid eyes on each other we fell in love, and not just the mate bond but actually fell in love. She makes the happiest I have ever been in my life. She’s so sweet, caring, kind and gorgeous. I don’t know how I got so lucky to find and have her. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I nervously fix my tie several times cause I don’t know what else to do. The piano begins to play and I can’t help but stare at the doors waiting and watching. All the bridesmaids make their way up here and then there’s a pause. And right there she comes and just when I didn’t think I could fall anymore in love with her I do. She looks absolutely stunning in her dress. And I can’t help but to tear up but I feel a few of the tears escape and stream down my face. I just couldn’t be anymore lucky! Her and her father make their way to the alter and they turn to each other and he kisses her cheek and places her hands in mine. He then pats my shoulder and smiles. I smile back as he turns to walk away to sit down. I turn back to Melanie who is standing there with tears in her eyes as well. I sure hope she’s as happy about this as I am. We go through with saying our vows and our I do’s which seem like forever because I just couldn’t wait to kiss her! Then the preacher says those magic words that I’ve been waiting for. “I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride!” I pull Melanie in close to me and lift her veil and I place both hands on her cheeks and kiss her passionately. This is it! We are finally married! And I couldn’t be more happy! I pull back for just a second to look at her. She smiles that sweet smile that I love so much and I just can’t help but kiss her again. Then we turn to the crowd and grab hands and throw them up and everyone starts cheering even louder than they already were. We start to make our way down the aisle out the door holding hands and I’m still shocked that this is even real. We are officially husband and wife!
