The Another World

First Goal

"Ahemmmm", Asterin cleared her throat. Serin broke the eye contact and glanced up at the friendly voice. Damen who was busy at glimpsing her crooked his eyebrows in disarray. He was bewildered that from where the voice came and to whom Serin was glancing in surprise with her widen eyes which looked like her eyeballs would come out from her eyes if she stares for few more minutes the same.

Serin gets off from his body and sits beside him on the bed. She fixes her dress, pulls the dress down and wears back freshly torn robe up. She stares down at the bedsheets in embarrassment. The embarrassment of what was going on right now and Asterin, his girlfriend, might get the wrong idea about them.

Damen didn't know what was going. He already said no one will come into his room except Asterin. But he finally understood what her sister is like. She can come inside his room anytime she wants without even taking permissions. His eyes widened on the thought that she might have seen them both on the bed and might have also misunderstood them.

He immediately sits on his place and turns back to have a look at her devil sister with a lopsided smirk on her face. Of course, she has misunderstood them. And who won't? Both of them were staring into the eyes of each other as if they were about to make out. But that's not gonna happen, because Serin, for whom Damen is waiting for, right now is cursing him underneath her breath.

She turns her face little to glance at Damen sitting beside her. She began glaring him with all the hate she has for him. Right now she wanted to grab his hairs and hit his head on the wall twice thrice or more than that. If she could, she can grab a knife and instantly stab it in his chest for more than multiple times unless her outrage calms down.

But she couldn't do anything from above so she just took a deep breath and relaxed herself to let go of her fury. However, the Asterin standing before her, read both of their minds. She controlled her giggle, making a thin line on her lips. Where Serin was glaring him with rage, damen was gazing at her with an innocent puppy-like eye.

"Did I disturbed a couple?", she asked straight, she wasn't boasting off her chuckle behind her serious face. Both of them quickly looked at her while shooking their heads. She was fake glaring at both of them as if a mother caught her children for eating chocolates. "Hmmm?", she hummed in a question raising her one eyebrow, gesturing at them to answer her question.

"No, it's not that what you think", both spoke up at the exact time, in the same voice. They quickly look at each other in surprise because both of them gave a similar answer. Right now both of them were behaving as immature kids sitting before their mother. Nevertheless, they both made a disgusting face after looking at each other up to down and looking back at Asterin.

"I think I should be leaving now. And Asterin it's nothing as you think", Serin confessed and stepped down on the floor from the bed. She was about to leave when Asterin grabbed her arm and made her sit back on the bed.

Meanwhile, Damen was annoyed why she calls Prince and Princes by their name. He meant, it was okay with him but why with Asterin. "Don't she know who she is?", he thought.

Asterin peeked at Damen and slightly shook her head, gesturing him no with close eyes. Damen let out a gasp when she said no. He assumed Serin know who she was from beginning but now he realised why Asterin was behaving suddenly mysterious with him.

She didn't want to let Serin know who she is, and his punishment helped Asterin in her plans. If he hasn't given her the punishment then Serin would have already learned from Sofia who she is. Asterin takes up the sleeves of Serin's robe to see the wound but she was surprised same as Damen was before.

She quickly pulled up her another robe sleeves but there was none, her eyebrows met in confusion. It was illogical for her to see a wound disappear as nothing happened. Asterin holds both of Serin's arms giving all her pressure to see if she feels any pain in her muscles. "What are you doing? I said its nothing as you think about us", Serin shoved away her hands from her arms and stand up.

"Don't you trust him that you're searching on me?", Serin added. Damen began laughing his heart out in his mind, he controlled his laugh and hide his face by turning away his face from Serin so that she doesn't see it.

"Please dear, I know what I'm doing. Don't teach me my work", Asterin said pointedly. Might be she is acting to make Serin jealous of her and fall for his brother, but Serin taking her name and raising her voice was offending her. If it wasn't her plan or she wasn't Serin, she would have sent her to afterlife right away, that too on dark Island.

"I'm not even interested to teach you anything, Damen didn't teach you?", she consulted. She wants to know about them if they even in relationship or Damen was playing around with her.

"Damen? Yeah, he taught me a lot from childhood", she said proudly and smirked at her.

"They know each other from childhood?", Serin thought.

"Nevermind, I was here to ask you something. May I?", Asterin added making Serin yawn and slightly nod, peeking around but not towards Asterin.

Serin was not jealous, she was just mad at Asterin that how can she be with a playboy like him even after knowing him from past more than 200 years. She wanted to yell loud and reveal about Damen's real face to his pack, but she was afraid at the same time. Afraid because they might think her same as other thought if she is Edurne.

"Do you remember us on the field? I came to you but you refused?"

"Yes, so what?"

"Then do you remember an arrow hitting your arm?"

"An arrow?", Serin thought. She looked down, she began blinking her eyes in turmoil. Her eyebrow forming a straight line. Her mouth forming a hole enough for a bee to pass inside. She was trying to remember what went on next when Asterin left.

She recalled she got up and went away from her to sit. Later Sofia came towards her and then she slowly remembered what Sofia explained to her. She encouraged her and indicated her the first step to go back home.

Then she thought back to herself going back to the field and watching them all practising. Also, she remembered Damen and Asterin laughing and playing together which brought about her feel awkward and little jealous at the same time.

Later, she saw a glorious sword. She was about to pick it when an arrow shot her arm and she felt down on the ground, she recalled everyone surrounding her and then she went unconscious. Asterin was looking into her mind, whatever she was remembering Asterin saw everything.

"What did you saw there?", Asterin inquired.

"What?", Serin looked up at Asterin in confusion. "How did she know what I saw?", Serin thought in mind.

"I can read your mind, did you forget? Nevermind. Tell me what was that? What do you think it was?"

"How would I know what was that? It was just a sword, as Damen have. Might be it was his another sword?", she mumbled.

"I don't have any other sword", Damen quickly replied.

"It was same as yours", Serin whined looking at Damen. She wanted to prove that she saw the same sword as Damen have.

"This things will make me mad. First, she came here, then Edurne's voice from the sky, Suzan was kidn*pped, also Serin saw a sword then got hit by an arrow at the same place, then the dawn from the moon which fell on heaven land-"

"It means I guessed right? It fell on heaven land?", Damen cut off her midsentence.

"Yes, but you know only who can go there"

"Artemis? She came back?", Damen was surprised. He was happy and confused at the same time. Happy because she will come back and confused because he doesn't know how Serin got healed.

"I don't want to give myself short happiness, it's good if we think she isn't with us and continues living our life. But we have to find out about that thing which fell on heaven land, we can't simply ignore it", Asterin confessed. She let out a sigh and sat beside Serin on the edge of the bed.

Serin was confused with all the talks which didn't get into her head a little. However, if it comes for her to go back home, she will not miss any chance. Artemis is her only way possible to go back in her world, and if they think she would be Artemis, then she should find out about her.

"Can I join you to find out about that land?", Serin pleaded. She took Asterin's hands into her hands and began rubbing them softly, also looking into her eyes making a puppy eyes.

Asterin recognized what she needed, thus she simply nodded. The torn robe which was annoying her eyes, she waved her hand over it. And just with one wave, the robe was joint again and changed into new as before.

"Why would she come with us?", Damen raised a question. Serin looked at him with the irritated face. He was gradually getting on her nerves because of him. Glaring at his face, Serin guessed he doesn't wish for her to come with them. She supposed he might feel she will ruin everything and her suspicion were making her madder.

"Why? Can't I come with you guys?"

"Guys?", Damen questioned. Neither his Prince and Princess friends ever called him guys, and Serin was breaking each of his rules. It's an informal way in their world to talk and bickering with the Prince in such speech meant to be given punishments.

"Serin, for your good luck I'll give you advice. People living here follow the rules strictly, so talk with the Prince formally not informally if you wish to avoid punishments", Asterin said pressing the shoulders of Serin.

Asterin was warning her that Damen is not that nice what he looks like, anyone misbehaving with him is not what he prefers. Then, he can kill anyone if he wants. However, that day hasn't come yet. Everyone respects him even his friends, except his sister.

"And what about you Asterin? You came into this room without taking permission. You must have taken it first", Serin shoved away her hands from her shoulder and asked.

"I can come to his room whenever I want serin. And just go in you room to sleep, we are going tomorrow early morning for investigation in the dark forest", Asterin said. She stood up and began walking towards the door.

"Aren't we going to heaven land?", Serin asked raising her voice.

"No one can go there except Artemis, Serin", she let out a sigh and walked out of the room.

Serin looked at Damen who was sitting beside her on the bed and ogling her with his sharp eyes, stroking his hairs behind, and chewing a small stick in his mouth. He was glancing at her as if he is a complete jerk. And when Serin made a disgusting like face and let out a tsk sound, he chuckled and began to lean forwards towards her.

Serin picked up pillow in her hands and tossed it on his face before standing and running out of the room.

"You jerk, you will die one day with my hands", she groaned before leaving his room and banging the door behind her back. Irritating her brings Damen to feel good. He simply began smiling rolling on his bed and then slept wrapping himself under the blanket.
