WHERE DOES THE WATER GO?

139 Words

WHERE DOES THE WATER GO? Six to nine a.m.. Six to nine p.m. Divisible by three. It’s the clockwork by which most of the city operates for water for its daily needs. Nicholas remembered seeing a map by A. Rudnytsky on the third floor of the Jewelry Museum at one of the corners of Rynok Square. Its title was “The Heart of Europe.” And it had a map that showed Ukraine at the very center of Europe with two red lines meeting virtually right at Lviv. These were the lines of the watershed of two parts of the continent that met at the city of lions. That couldn’t have been coincidence. It must mean something. The red line where the waters flow to the West and to the East. That was an important sign, but of what, he wasn’t sure.
