Amanda entered her office while massaging her slightly dizzy forehead. Her meeting with Jeffrey just made Amanda's mind even more burdened.
Jeffrey promised to cover up their closeness, as long as Amanda wants to be Gavin's babysitter every Saturday and Sunday.
Like it or not, Amanda had to obey Jeffrey's wishes.
Because if not, Jeffrey does not hesitate to spread the closeness of the two of them.
And that will be bad for Amanda, because Jeffrey's fans will definitely attack her.
"Why, Miss?" Sari asked, when she saw Amanda's lethargic face.
"Nothing." Amanda shook her head with a smile.
He then sat down in his chair, and returned to work.
"How's your father doing, Miss?" Panji asked.
"Not getting better. Maybe one more week before I can go home," said Amanda.
"What's wrong, Miss?" said Sari.
"Fractured bones in the back, the same small wound on the head."
"Oh my gosh! Hope you get well soon, Nda. We actually want to visit there, but we still have a lot of work to do," Sari said.
"No need, Ma'am. Just pray for a speedy recovery," Amanda replied, smiling sweetly.
"Will you be there again, when you get home from work?" asked Panji, who only nodded by Amanda.
"Greetings, to your father and mother," said Sari.
"Which mother is this? What is your biological mother, stepmother?" Amanda asked with a chuckle.
However, it made Panji and Sari a little surprised.
"Oh, sorry. Are you divorced already?" Sari asked carefully, afraid to hurt Amanda's feelings.
But Amanda laughed instead, seeing Sari and Panji's awkward expressions.
"Don't worry, sis. I won't be offended. They've been divorced since I was in elementary school," Amanda replied.
"Then, are you going with your father or mother?" Panji asked.
"Neither of them," Amanda answered casually, as if there was no burden on her face.
"Huh? Who do you live with?" asked Sari who was surprised again.
"Alone, please. You're an independent woman," Amanda replied, while showing her arrogant face which made Panji and Sari laugh.
It was rare for them to see Amanda acting like this, because so far Amanda had always been calm and graceful in front of them.
"Oh my gosh. I hope you are always happy, Nda," Sari said, smiling full of emotion.
"Of course. There's no reason not to be happy," Amanda replied, giving a thumbs up and smiling broadly.
In contrast to his face that looks cheerful. Amanda's heart actually throbbed with pain, after saying that. The wound came back to
haunt Amanda, as if it was preventing her from living happily.
"By the way, where are Arumi and Reyhan?" she asked.
"There is a task in the field," said Panji, who was only nodded by Amanda.

After struggling with work for an hour, Amanda could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Being an employee in a big company is not easy, there are many heavy tasks and responsibilities that must be carried out. But Amanda doesn't make it a burden, she does everything with a sincere and happy heart.
Before heading home, Amanda stopped by the office kitchen to make coffee. His eyes were tired and wanted to sleep soon. If you don't drink coffee, Amanda might fall asleep on public transportation.
"Afternoon Ma'am." Amanda greets a woman who works as a Kitchen staff.
"Afternoon," the woman replied kindly.
Amanda took a glass and immediately brewed her coffee. Then the woman sat in a chair, enjoying her hot coffee while playing on her cell phone.
"Amanda..." called the woman named Ola.
"Yes Miss?" Amanda turned her head, facing Ola who was standing in front of the toilet.
"I'm mules. Can I ask for help or not?"
Ola winced as she held her stomach, holding back something that wanted to come out.
Amanda immediately nodded. "Yes," he replied.
"Please deliver the President's drink to his room," Ola said, making Amanda a little surprised.
"Anyway, just look for it, the biggest room on the tenth floor. In front of it is a small garden with a fountain," he said again.
Before Amanda could reply, Ola immediately went into the toilet.
Amanda chuckled in annoyance, her heart's intention was to go home soon so she wouldn't meet Jeffrey, but instead it ended like this. Want to refuse, but can not bear to Ola.
Not wanting to linger any longer, Amanda immediately brought the drink to Jeffrey's room.
After arriving in front of Jeffrey's room, Amanda then pressed the bell. While waiting for a response from Jeffrey, Amanda's eyes looked around Jeffrey's room which looked very beautiful and soothing to the eyes. Right in front of the room, there is a small garden decorated with a fountain and fish pond.
Amanda thought, if the 10th floor is only filled with important people in the company. Because it looks very quiet and quiet. There are only a few rooms on that floor, and the biggest one is Jeffrey's room.
After three times pressing the bell, the door finally opened. A man came out with a stack of files.
"Do you want to deliver the President's drink?" the man asked, to which Amanda immediately nodded.
"Just come in. The president is still in the bathroom," said the man.
"Nothing?" Amanda asked doubtfully. After all, this was the first time he had entered his superior's room.
"It's okay. Just put it on the table," replied the man.
"Excuse me first," he continued. Then immediately walked away leaving Amanda who was still standing in front of the door.
With a little hesitation, Amanda opened the door to the room. Inside, Jeffrey was already sitting relaxed in his chair while playing on his cell phone.
Amanda closed the door again, then walked over to Jeffrey who was still serious with his cell phone.
Amanda put her drink on Jeffrey's table, making Jeffrey look at her in surprise.
"Why don't you ring the bell first?" asked Jeffrey surprised.
Amanda rolled her eyes playfully. Is this man in front of him deaf? How many times must he ring the bell?
"Is ringing the bell three times not enough?" Amanda asked curtly.
Jeffrey chuckled seeing Amanda's annoyed face. He then stood up from his seat and walked over to Amanda.
"Have eaten?" he asked.
she nodded. His eyes focused on Jeffrey's room which looked very luxurious. Amanda was curious about how much it cost Jeffrey to decorate this room.
"Want to go home or to the hospital?" asked Jeffrey again.
"To the house first," Amanda answered without looking at Jeffrey. His gaze was still fixated on Jeffrey's room which looked very beautiful like a five star hotel.
"Do you want to be together or not?" offered Jeffrey.
"No! I'm afraid of being ganged up on by your fans," Amanda replied, making Jeffrey chuckle immediately.
Sometimes, Amanda was a little surprised by Jeffrey's character. Arumi said Jeffrey was always cold in public. The man almost never showed his sweet smile in front of everyone. In fact, the man rarely interacted with the employees unless there was something important.
Very different from the figure of Jeffrey that Amanda knows. Since the first time they met, Jeffrey has always shown a warm attitude, even though he can sometimes be annoying. Jeffrey also often smiled and laughed in front of Amanda. The man even did ridiculous things that made Amanda laugh until her stomach hurt.
If Arumi's words were true. Can Amanda conclude, that Jeffrey has two personalities.
"Gavin vidcall," said Jeffrey, pointing his camera at Amanda.
You can see Gavin's face that fills Jeffrey's cellphone screen. Amanda immediately snatched the cellphone, and brought it to sit on the couch.
"Gavin have eaten, son?" she asked.
"Okay, Aunty..." Saskia said, imitating a child's voice.
"Eat what vegetable porridge?" she asked again.
"Eat chicken porridge with potatoes."
Hearing Gavin's chattering voice, Amanda couldn't wait to meet the toddler soon.
"Aunty when are you here?" asked Saskia.
"Aunty will go home first, honey! Tonight, Aunty will just go to the hospital," Amanda replied.
"Okay. Gavin wait, Aunty!"
After the videocall was cut off, Amanda returned her cell phone to Jeffrey. Then the woman intended to leave the room, but was held back by Jeffrey.
"Don't go home yet," Jeffrey said, making Amanda frown in surprise.
"I ordered food earlier. Soon the food will come," he said again.
"Keep going?" asked Amanda surprised. Honestly he was a little embarrassed, when Jeffrey changed his address to me-you.
"Help me eat. I ordered a lot of things."
"No. I already ate."
Well, Amanda changed her nickname. But it doesn't matter, anywayyou are friends now
Not long after, the food ordered by Jeffrey arrived, accompanied by his personal assistant. Luckily, Amanda was currently in the bathroom. So he didn't have to bother explaining to his assistant about Amanda's presence in his room.
"Please come out!" drive Jeffrey. He was worried if Amanda suddenly came out of the bathroom, and met her assistant here.
It wasn't time yet, Jeffrey introduced Amanda to the people closest to him. Because they are just friends who just met a few days ago.
"Did you come?" Amanda asked, walking over to Jeffrey on the couch.
Jeffrey nodded. "Here, help," he said.
On the table, already lined up some of the food that Jeffrey ordered. Amanda was surprised, was Jeffrey so hungry? Until he bought that much food.
"There's so much food," Amanda muttered.
"At first, I bought it for my secretary too. But he was in a hurry to go home," said Jeffrey.
The man took two slices of pizza. One he ate, and the other he gave to Amanda. If they continued talking, then the food in front of them would be neglected.
"Oh... the one who brought a lot of files earlier, huh?" Amanda asked, as she ate her pizza.
Jeffrey thought for a moment, then nodded.
"What's his name?" she asked again.
"Ken Arya," replied Jeffrey briefly. The man then took a rice box and gyoza, then ate it with gusto.
"Handsome huh. How old is he?"
"25 if I'm not mistaken."
"Could you introduce him," Amanda teased, causing Jeffrey to look at her in disapproval.
"He doesn't like girls."
Instantly her eyes widened and her mouth opened wide. I was so shocked, the pizza he was holding fell to the floor.
"S-he's gay?" she asked. Meanwhile, Jeffrey laughed out loud, seeing Amanda's shocked face.
"Don't like girls like you mean," said Jeffrey, making Amanda look directly at him. A second later, Amanda immediately threw several punches at Jeffrey's arm. Instead of being angry, Jeffrey just laughed out loud.
"It's really annoying," Amanda grumbled.
In the midst of their little bickering, suddenly there was a knock on the door and a very loud bell. Suddenly, Amanda and Jeffrey immediately fell silent and stared at each other.
Before the door opened, Jeffrey quickly ordered Amanda to hide under the table.
"Enter!" Jeffrey shouted, after making sure Amanda's position was safe.
The door opened, revealing a beautiful woman in a very elegant dress.
"Jeff..." the woman called spoiled, as she walked over to Jeffrey.
