Chapter Thirty-Three Gage didn’t seem to understand the words “no,” and “I’m sorry.” He wouldn’t stop texting and calling. He even came to the house a couple of times but luckily, I was never there when he did. When my phone rang for the umpteenth time, I gave it only a cursory glance, then realized it wasn’t Gage’s number after all. It was a text from Mari. Mari: Guess what?
