A week passed after Rael’s meeting with the High Blades, but his mind hadn’t settled. He paced in his home, barely speaking to anyone outside of Raslyn and Vynn. The frustration gnawed at him like a beast caged too long. The Shadow had been gathering every scrap of information it could on the exiled Vael’Thor house, known as the Velthira, who were responsible for his father’s death. The Shadow has also been tracking down the remaining Azure Sky leadership, who have abandoned their estates and went into hiding. Some leaving Kiston all together.
