Chapter 10 Sullivan entered the old Navy base by the road where the old guard house still stood, now empty. He shook his head slowly. “The Navy never should have left this wonderful old base,” he thought. Just beyond the guard house there was one of the old Patrol Squadron aircraft. It looked even sadder than the guard house. Taking a left just beyond the aircraft, they found a sheriff's SUV parked. Sullivan pulled up behind it. The deputy hopped out and met him. “You Detective Sullivan?” Sullivan rolled down his window, “Yeah, What can you tell me?” The Deputy, a stocky, slow mover, responded, “He's in that house just down the block with the lights on,” he said pointing with a stubby finger. “Is there any one else here?” Sullivan asked. “There is another deputy parked out of s
