Chapter 55
The shooters trudged quickly along the same trail they took in. They didn't have far to go. Moving steadily through heavy snow in and around trees for four or five hundred feet. They approached the snowmobile hidden behind some short pine trees. Digging in his pocket he found the keys. She hopped on right behind him and they set off south. It was snowing again and the wind began to kick up. They could hear a couple other snowmobiles off in the distance along the snowmobile trail they were headed for. This trail would take them the three miles to where they had left a small SUV they had recently stolen for just this event. They then would be off, to where it would be almost impossible to find them.
