Chapter 48
The shooter spent some time deciding who would be next. There were so many friends and relatives close to Sullivan and his team. He was studying the list he had spent days compiling over a month ago, trying to decide which victim would have the greatest impact on Sullivan or one of his team. After the decision was made, he paced his office thinking that the ultimate surprise would be soon. He was tiring of the game and knew that the end must be spectacular and that the others needed to be involved. He wasn't sure what that would be yet, but was leaning toward one idea...the thought caused him to take a deep breath and then a satisfied smile, knowing he was not alone. But, that surprise would still have to wait...the game was not over just yet.
