"Doctor!Doctor! Please tell me she will be fine!" Sainapei pleaded when the doctor came out of the operation room.
"Madam, I'm sorry but..." the doctor tried to be a bit smooth but Sainapei quickly interapted.
"But what?"
"We lost her, she's gine." The doctor said sympathetically.
"Noo! No way, mother noo please come back to me, I need you, mamaaa!" Sainapei cried.
The doctors there tried to comfort her but Sainapei was uncontrollable. She cried loudly with pain and sorrow. Lisa was gone and gone forever. She was the only reason why Sainapei had made it till there. She had taken her from nothing completely, to something. She dressed her, fed her, took her to school and now she had gotten a scholarship to study abroad. Loosing Lisa was like loosing her own life as well.
Mr.Williams, Lisa's husband, had been given a transfer so he was not in the city.Sainapei sat there on the floor, all by herself, sobbing quietly.Life no longer had any meaning without the woman who encouraged her and shared her success with her.
"Excuse me madam," a young man dressed in a blue suit called out to where Sainapei was.Sainapei wiped her tears off then looked up.
"You are Sainapei Williams,right?
Sainapei nodded as she stood up.
"I'm sorry for your loss. I'm from NEC and I have an important message for you." he said gently. Sainapei never looked surprised but she at least got some strength to speak.
"What is it?" she asked camly in a whisper.
"Your flight to the UK has already been booked and you will have to travel tomorrow at eight in the morning.
" Thank you." she whispered again.
" Should I drive you home?" The gentleman asked.
" No thanks, I'll manage."
"See you tomorrow, I'll pick you up at 6:30 a.m." he said and left.
Good thing, Lisa had relatives and so they were there to take care of everything.Sainapei then took a cab home and when she arrived, she stared at Lisa's things, tears rolling down her cheeks. It then hit her that she was traveling the following day and had not packed. So she lazily packed everything she needed including their family photo and went to bed.
Early the following morning, a black Prado packed outside her door waited and she got in with a frawn smile and they drove straight to the airport. They managed to get their plane in time and off they flew. The journey was long and lonely. It was her first travel by plane but wasn't as expected. Suddenly, she was given sad news of Mr. Williams. No way. He had died after the shock of her wife's death and Sainapei just was rooted at her chair speechless. She had no more tears to cry and couldn't scream since was damn! A plain. All was just was terrible, no words could explain the pain Sainapei was feeling.
Three hours later, they landed at the UK International airport
