Carter abruptly jumped from the bed and started pacing the floor as soon as I told him the witches name. It was quite obvious from his behavior that he knew her, but how, and why was he so angry? There was something more to the situation, but judging from the anger I could feel from the bond, I didn't think right now was the best time to ask. He needed to calm down, but honestly we had become so foreign to each other I didn't know what to do. I sighed softly and placed my hands in my lap again, fiddling with my fingers.
